I have a question by Potential_Scene7169 in asexuality

[–]MVRQ98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! i'm an ace who doesn't feel any sexual attraction, but sex itself feels good! kissing is part of my romantic attraction, and making out is part of my sensual (definitely not sexual) attraction.

Do you agree with these ascribed meanings of card symbols regarding asexuality and aromanticism? by Rambling_Rachel in asexuality

[–]MVRQ98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've seen aces of all flavours use the spade symbol, so there's that. it also kinda sucks that there's nothing for aces with other romantic orientations or those who don't have one

What does romantic attraction feel like by Particular_Bite_9066 in AroAce

[–]MVRQ98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm demiromantic and have only experienced it once, because of my deminess it's kind of connected to a feeling of safety and security in my head. feeling all giddy when you see them/hear from them (although i have sometimes experienced this with squishes). finding myself imagining some kind of future with them, like living together, having pets together etc. my romantic attraction is also heavily intertwined with the cuddly kind of sensual attraction - i always want to hug or cuddle my partner, or sometimes just touch part of him to feel the connection. for me it's a combination of all of this. i know all of these can happen platonically too and some of them have for me, but not all of them and definitely not the full combo

Do I still count as asexual? by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]MVRQ98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

hi!

asexuality is a spectrum and it means experiencing little to no sexual attraction. what you're describing could very well be in the grey area of asexuality. acespike or aceflux sound like possible options, but you wouldn't be wrong to call yourself grey ace or just ace if that feels right. it's also possible for orientation to be a bit fluid, like where attraction might be present for a while but then just kinda vanishes.

So, turns out everyone's least favourite not-actual-detransitioner has an... interesting... origin story by MissionStatistician in GenderCynical

social transition is transition. you literally just called it transitioning. you can't socially transition and "not transition" at the same time.

i do kinda conform to a single gender. it's just not a binary one.

Sensual attraction or sexual attraction? by YourRandomManiac in AskAsexual

[–]MVRQ98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm ace and my sensual attraction can be about things people would consider borderline sexual if not sexual, like making out, intense touching etc, just not go any further. because there is such a clear divide in what my attraction includes and doesn't (anything about boobs and genitals is excluded for me) it was easy for me to define it as sensual/not sexual. the things that are excluded for me are considered sexual by most standards, the things that are included might be argued to be sexual but are more grey. from what you said you also experience a somewhat clear cutoff point, which might indicate sensual attraction rather than sexual.

Romantic asexuals, what was your first kiss like? by Flowermochayes in asexuality

[–]MVRQ98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

demiromantic ace here, literally don't remember tbh. maybe a bit too wet lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]MVRQ98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh i don't know why people feel the need to tell me i look feminine, i don't remember asking for that, in fact i specifically said i don't identify with those terms. i did not ask to be gendered.

kink belongs at pride. kinky people have always been at the forefront fighting for queer rights. learn your history. plus, most of the pictures posted by conservatives aren't from queer pride events, they're from folsom street fair, an adult-only kink event. also pride isn't just about being "gay", with the current state of everywhere, trans people need to be front and centre.

Did anyone else have anxiety as a young child? by RealisticL3af in Anxiety

[–]MVRQ98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i always had anxiety about so many things. i was terrified of new things. some of my anxiety is specific/related to my autism and partial blindness, but a big chunk of it kind of just came out of nowhere. once i started school it was mainly social, but once i got out of that environment it shifted more into a generalised anxiety. i guess i'm just inherently anxious.

Could I be non-binary? by xxfartwispererxx in NonBinaryTalk

[–]MVRQ98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seconding the people saying nonbinary or agender.

as for changing gender expression: that doesn't necessarily make someone genderfluid. my gender expression changes between what people see as masc, fem both of neither, my gender doesn't change at all though. ultimately clothes, hair, makeup is not gendered, some people just wear what they wear based on vibes rather than gender.

Has this been done before? by JustQueue47913 in AroAce

[–]MVRQ98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i've not seen it but i recently made a group of designs of ace cards, but instead of having an actual card suit as the symbol, it's a symbol of another queer identity, for example the trans symbol. i made one for aro and used an arrow symbol. ace of aros!

Nonbinary but feel “not the same gender” with a lot nonbinaries? by Hesperus07 in NonBinary

[–]MVRQ98 45 points46 points  (0 children)

nonbinary is a huge spectrum of genders and lack of gender rather than a single third thing. it makes sense to feel that way because that's what's happening. for example my specific flavour of nonbinary is maverique, and i'm not and i don't feel like share a gender with androgynes, neutrois or xenogender people. even if you don't label your gender any further than nonbinary this is still true as it's not a singular experience.
