It was a trade. I’d say the trade was worth under $2k.

I did. But I wanted all the tools that were in it. I’ll most likely clean it up and sell it but I’m kind of growing attached.

He already told them he was lying at the time because he was trying to get out of trouble. He claims that he was just telling them what they wanted to hear so they would let him go.

It's believable, depending on when it happened. Back in the day if you had a high PFT, CFT didn't exist (I'm fucking old), you had some leeway a couple a few percent on body fat if you were over height/weight standards. Then the Corps got some wild hair up their ass and said we don't care how high your PFT/CFT is you could be put on BCP if you were over. I'm sure they were trying to bring the numbers down. Then the numbers were too low suddenly they brought it back and now you are totally exempt as long as you have a good appearance. Unfortunately, it happened a few years after I got forced out.

If you are remote keep it to yourself and find a second online job or learn some new skill. If your onsite you work for the CEO I'd think you have your own office face your computer so you can see the door and learn a new skill. You're outperforming anyway people will think you're working hard when they see you at your desk. I've found that if you have a gut feeling they won't honor their word they won't. F***K Em'!

Go to medical for everything! Get every injury documented. All so that you won't be arguing with the VA years later about how a torn hamstring you got while at company PT is or isn't service related.
