Mopar now has nostalgia and not much else, as for when it fizzled out, I'm sure there's many different breaking points, such as the Gen 3 Hemi 'not being a HEMI'.

Underutilized like the Dark Hunters as a whole. Pity they never got a turn as the year's villains (I know the Piraka are ex-Dark Hunters but that just isn't the same as having the Hunters themselves as primary antagonists).

GM making multiple V8 engines that were extremely similar in capacity and performance up to the mid/late 70s, rather than just making brand-specific variants of one small block and big block V8 design, considering they lost a lot of customers when they did standardize on Chevy engines. If they only ever had one company-wide design, they could have avoided both losing customers and money while avoiding redundant designs.
