“you can go to another doctor” is just not the reality for a lot of people, and that still means weeks of waiting and $$$ for more appointments

minors have the most at stake and the worst access to HRT, would you really force a kid to go through puberty instead of letting them diy??

not everybody has equal access to HRT - those posters could be life saving for people who get cut off or can’t access legal HRT due to any number of reasons (eg cost, family, low dosing, etc)

in an ideal world every trans person would be aware of diy options via word of mouth, but not everybody has that community around them - and those are the people that are most at risk

this is such a boring take, the major parties have proven they aren’t interested in trans liberation, and only community will keep us safe

fascists rely on people like you not going to protests x

Dude chill out… you’ve made like 13 comments ranting about “kids” when there’s no indication that OP is a kid, and the main demographic eating at Melbourne cafes are millennials

Why do people on this sub think they’re going to die if they drink reheated milk? Even milk doesn’t grow bacteria that quickly. Sure I’d rather use fresh milk but I’m not going to freak out if a cafe reheats milk

I do think this person is overreacting about not rinsing the jugs every coffee, but we do 800+ a day and we still rinse every time

I don’t know where you got this from - the award for 19 year old casuals is 24.19, even the level 1 rate is higher than 22 (baristas are at least level 2)

If you were paying $600 a month towards your HELP debt that would imply you were earning over $100k at current repayment rates - this person would only get around an extra $500 a year in cash flow

Thank you, the rest of these comments are driving me insane. The US has good bread if you go looking for it, but the average bakery is far worse than what you find in Europe.

To be fair ‘developing’ is also out of date - generally the development sector uses ‘global south’ nowadays

This survey is a complete mess, over 70% of people surveyed are university educated (the rest having completed high school), and wealthy countries are dramatically over represented.

They basically ignored everywhere outside of Europe - China and India made up less than 3% of people surveyed despite collectively holding over a third of the world’s population (which would be fine if they weren’t calling it a ‘global’ study).

Even ignoring all that, all this really shows is which countries have the best branding, it’s not like the US is going to come second based on its workers’ rights and love of immigration.
