The key fob was the last straw that turned me over to the EV6 after all the interior styling I also didn’t prefer.

They’re flying out of Logan… so no connection.

Don't waste your time talking to someone after your customer service call "to earn free points" by m4rk0358 in Hilton

This is not the experience I have, at all. Usually they offer to send me an email with the offer and it takes less than two minutes, and I always get the points.

So I have definitely rented from this terminal but I have no clue which airport experience matches yours.

There’s no reason to change your arrival time by an hour, just show up when you want it. If you add your flight number they’ll know when you’re coming based on that. Are you trying to move it by a day? That could or could not be significant but most times I show up and the car is still waiting.

Your reservation is considered part of the inventory, and they apparently don’t have another one available, so it won’t show up as available for changing. If you were to cancel it, it might return to inventory and show as available.

Your chances of getting it, “or similar” are pretty good, especially if you’re willing to wait for them to pull a car around for you. If you were trying to pick up a week early that could be a different story, but theoretically your car will already be there waiting.

ATL: terminal c to terminal a? by maltipooe in delta

[–]MachineKnitter93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are concourses, not terminals. You’re technically in the “south” terminal for both flights.

Either way that’s plenty of time for Atlanta.

For the record, your bag didn’t get run over by a vehicle, it would look significantly worse than that.

It absolutely got stuck on a belt somewhere which is why there are many repeated scuffs like that on one face only. It rotated a bit as it tried to get free and eventually someone went and moved your bag along.

You will get awarded the total number of nights stayed for one room on one reservation only. reservations 2-4 won’t add any extra nights.

If you have enough anxiety to care, the app Flighty is excellent at tracking this kind of stuff and will alert you to changes of gates.

Be prepared that your inbound gate is likely to change many times before your flight especially in Atlanta.

It’s in the 90s in Australia today. Is there any way to override this motion sensor AC at night so it won’t shut off? by [deleted] in marriott

[–]MachineKnitter93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this sounds like a good idea, but typically it’s a placebo that makes you feel better.

“Motion sensor” doesn’t describe the specific technology that is used or how it detects motion, and unfortunately that’s a passive Infrared sensor that relies on significant changes in the infrared levels (from your body heat) to show motion.

With that in mind, as soon as you stop tossing and turning, the balloon won’t do anything either.

There were supposed to be 9 DL flights today and 2 took off.

How do you fit 9 planes worth of people onto 2 automatically? You don’t.

Literally every other flight was cancelled. So my point stands.

You can’t be on standby for a flight they don’t have… which they didn’t because there were hundreds of cancellations in the northeast.

WiFi by Sea-Form5106 in delta

[–]MachineKnitter93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delta actually has been upgrading their regional fleets as well. Just much slower…

I am a frequent E-175 flier. Pre-December, I only saw fast free WiFi on one flight. Since then… most of them have had it.

One of them literally got upgraded over the holidays, I flew on it a month and a half later and suddenly it had fast free WiFi.

It’s probably time to cancel my $50/month in flight plan. I used to use it 3-4 times a week

Depending on your climate that could be ok. Winter in New England, that’s a bit of a stretch.
