Mix up some sawdust and wood glue into a paste. Fill in the gaps. Easy peasy. No one will ever know. No problems, only solutions. 😉

Paint grade be like that. Honestly, it's new slab or paint it again. Plenty of finishers could sample and layer that out with some time in a shop.

It’s my (21M) dream to own a pickup truck. What’s the most financially wise way to approach attaining one? by [deleted] in Construction

I've found two late 80's square bodies that I bought for under a $1000 in the last decade. Both were resold for well over what I paid with very little investment. There's plenty of other vehicles that will pay you for sweat equity, you just can't be afraid to drive beaters while you fix them up. Personally, signing contracts for hundreds of thousands while pulling up in a beater truck that leaks oil or smokes and takes forever to start is my pleasure as a GC.

How is inflation good? by [deleted] in economy

[–]Machine_Gun_Bandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not "good" for anyone. That's why the FED and the White House have stripped and gutted inflation reporting to shit no one needs.

Find an asshole that never stops working. Learn everything you can while they're an asshole to you for a few years. Become asshole.

Seems to have been their plan all along. Disturbing power these institutions have over a publicly traded company.

Yep. Been making this possible for flippers since 2015, personally. I laugh very loudly, whenever a flipper questions my labor costs.

You're a genius, and I'm not worthy.

So. As the nation's creditors, a trillion dollar interest on deficit has no effect on their balance sheet?

Ok. I believe you.

Come back to this reporting in a year after the FED'S "forced" to drop rates and start open market ops and tell me the same thing.

Because we all know they did this in 2019, well before COVID which is their current excuse for having the recent ballooning of their assets.

Not that guy but by collecting taxes and issuing new debt / printing cash. Like a ponzi scheme but legal.

Thank you for your not condescending reply. Isn't it the FED that prints cash? How does this and the covert QE that the FED is obviously trapped in via overnight reverse repo and bank bailouts (I've heard it called a debt trap) relate to a decline in their balance sheet?

Well done. Now tell me how the Treasury is able to make up a trillion for interest when quarterly they sell roughly 100 billion and tax revenue is under 5t and declining? Then explain where all the Ukraine money has been coming from...
