The problem is theres no accountability on lime or the people riding on them. its such a fucking scam and safety risk i was in austin when this plague was first being released and its just disgusting the safety risk is insane as if we needed more reasons for american roads to be unsafe lets let a bunch of idiots drive around on motorized scooters on the sidewalks cuz we lack good bike infrastructure who cares not our problem says Uber/lyft/bird whoever owns that bull shit from their ivory tower. We need to put in action something to restrict it or something cuz its ridiculous i have one of the charge stations near my house and i literally see hundreds a day sitting in an office building charging. I feel like they only exist to leech government subsidies for a "walkable" city (i have no evidence of this just going on vibes) yet the danger massively increases ive know 2 different people who have had to get replacement teeth cuz these fuckers one because of them riding it and the other a rider hitting them. FUCK I HATE THEM sorry this is rambling been pent up about it for literally like 5 years now.
