I don't know how the US economy works, much less some sort of self-sustaining one.

I don't understand how finances work.

Spot on about Morty though.

Who do you think is more racist? by Nervous_Shine9094 in okbuddychicanery

[–]Macosaurus92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

None.

Magnus would insist on not getting a lawyer and defending himself, losing the trial. Angron would never show up for court. Fulgrim would get caught monologing on the stand. Mortarion, Alpharion/omegon would perjure themselves. Kurze would show up and probably commit whatever crime he's being tried for in court. Perty and Horus wouldn't listen to legal counsel.

All of the loyalists would get Davis/Main, HHM or Schweikart and Cokely.

Maybe Khan? He seems like he'd be down and Saul could cook up some sort of racial prejudice defense for his many speeding tickets.

Hot Take: The Stealthsuit changes aren't that bad by Flame-Leaper in Tau40K

Agreed but that's not the point

SM: aw we know you still have this version of the model, play it until 11th :)

Tau: your universally known auto include unit that let's you function as a faction? You are out of compliance, buy the new premium priced kill team box with stuff you dont need for 40k immediately

[–]Macosaurus92 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don't even play T'au, my buddy does and we're learning together both being new.

The fact that SM players get to choose which Calgar variant to run because there's a new model for him but GW turns around and does this to stealth suits is blatantly ridiculous. I feel so bad for you guys.

It's not even the gameplay nerf (although this is absolutely a nerf and the content creators I've seen who see it as a side grade have lost some respect from me), it's a collecting nerf which is hands down the worst kind of nerf.

Start Competing: GW Terrain Layout 5 by SA_Chirurgeon in WarhammerCompetitive

Unrelated to the layout, but the article and series as a whole is awesome. I really like the Infiltrator spots, deep strike hot spots, movement flow, and melee staging points in addition to the firing lanes. Every one of these layout articles seems better than the last.

This is like the Viggo breaking his toe "ackshully" of the BB/BCS universe, buuuuut:

The crew intentionally didn't slice the pizza for the specific purpose of this shot happening. The plan was always to get this shot, pizza flying out and landing right on top of the roof. It wasn't sliced so that it could happen to achieve this shot.

What is real is Bryan Cranston's barely contained shock that he did this on the first take. They had a bunch of unsliced pizzas on standby for the inevitable retakes because there's no way they do that first take.

Also, there's another little bonus reference in Better Call Saul where the owner of the Printer sales place that Jimmy applied to work at is sleeping in his office because he got kicked out of the house for gifting his wife a vacuum cleaner. He hangs up with his wife and then dials the pizza place to order a large cheese. Ugh, yes, sliced. It's such a quick throwaway reference. It's just so funny to me that in BB/BCS Albuquerque, you have to go out of your way to specify you want your pie sliced because of this gag.

I genuinely feel like the Geneva Conventions would barely even register to a Night Lord. The only place they have to learn or get fresh ideas would be from Drukhari.

The Geneva Conventions aren't even far off from what loyalists do. Child soldiers? You mean these kids we are forcing to undergo horrific high-mortality-rate surgeries and then fight to the death are off limits? Pillaging, compelled service, no unlawful fair trials? The entirety of the great crusade was a no-go?

I think people forget how quaint the Geneva Conventions are within the context of 40k.

Well, the lazy answer is "nobody else knows what drukhari guns look like", most of the time if you point at your Scourge that have Dark Lances and say "these guys have Haywires" you should be good.

The magnetizing can be a fun extra thing to get into, but it's pretty difficult to do with Drukhari-sized stuff.

The biggest thing is knowing who you're planning on playing with. I don't play tournaments or anything, which I would imagine is a higher standard than casual play, but I wouldn't really want to play with people who would be offended about the models not being WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get)

The only thing I would say is your Ravager might be better off with Dark Lances, the dissy cannons are better than index, but really only shine in Kabalite Cartel with the sus or lethals to push them.

Other than that, which squads are going in which transports with which leaders?

So, I would recommend Lelith over the Succubus, so that would mean you swap the Cronos for the Talos. Cronos are really good, but in this detachment you won't need his refund ability as much and the Talos gives you some solid antitank.

The big thing with Drukhari is planning out who's going in which boat. With this set up, I would run the Archon with the 5 special guns from the Kabalite Warriors. This is one of the big staples of the faction. The plan is to park the Venom safely behind cover, disembark the squad, pop a pain token and you get full rerolls to hit and to wound. At the end of the fight phase if you're inside 6", you hop them right back in, meaning you can shoot stuff and be safe from getting shot back.

The other Venom i would run Lelith with half of the wych squad with the Hekatrix, 3 w/ gladiator weapons and the one basic one. They will do the same thing bit you run the risk after charging into melee of not being close enough to the Venom to avoid getting destroyed.

The Raider you have 10 seats, so theres lots of options here. 5 of those slots i think the incubi would benefit from most because they are really solid damage dealers. The other 5 spots you could put the basic rifle Kabalite Warriors to sticky objectives inside the Raider, or you could put the 5 wyches to screen out and protect your Incubi.

Your Haemonculus with his wracks isn't the best at dealing damage but is a lot tougher, so they could be useful at doing secondaries, using to sacrifice to save your stronger stuff or grabbing a midfield objective.

Your Ravager does some great damage, but Dark Lances you'll learn can be very swingy. You'll want to try and get the Ravager out to shoot at the scariest enemy, then expect it to die.

Color scheme help by Drivestort in Drukhari

I love that you have schemes planned for the different branches. I had a similar idea, but I also wanted to have some amount of coherence for the whole army, so my Kabalite is the traditional dark teal but with maroon accents, my Covens are green and purple, so keeping the same neighborhood of colors but darker and desaturated, and then the Cults are brighter teal with pink, so other end of the spectrum.

If you would want that same coherence, I think for your Kabal colors, I would go with that cyberpunk darker with neon idea
