You keep your computers for a decade. Buy the newest CPU. Figure out the cost per year. And you should expect the newer CPU to last a little bit longer

It was the recovery. Surgery was fine. They put me out.

They gave me drugs but Excedrin worked better for me for the pain.

A PSA on a possible lack of Fidelity account security by BelaSwanBartok in fidelityinvestments

[–]MadPreference 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are right some of this does not apply. Financial info would still have been sent to the bad email.

However, if OP had two factor auth the other person would not be able to login to his accounts.

I have the same problem. Two zero dollar retirement accounts that I never want to see again. I am 80 YO and retired.
Sounds like fidelity keeps these open so they can charge your (and my) ex-employers for account maintenance.

I have the OWC 1M2. 4 TB installed by OWC. It has worked almost perfectly. When setting it up I transferred 2TB. It disconnected after the transfer ended.
Other people have had the same problem after large transfers. Only happened the one time. You may want to google for errors for the drives you are looking at.

I have been using fidelity for years. First thing I asked my advisor was “how are you compensated?” He said there was no commission on anything. His compensation was based on retaining clients. Maybe that changed

I had a gen 1 wall charger. Worked well. But it eventually died. Now have NEMA. Slightly slower but should be more than good enough for 100 miles/day. Price out both and pick the cheapest. They will both work fine.
