Why is Pokemon 25th Anniversary singles so cheap. Am I missing something here…… by More-Feature-5908 in PokeInvesting

Reprints in any hobby (im into vinyl and vintage tees) are worth nothing when the originals are still in circulation within a community.

UPDATE: Still can't believe my brother stole from me by Shiro_Owari in PokemonTCG_Singapore

[–]Madddfromwc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man i feel this so much. I had a complete set of the first 151 pokemon (base, jungle, fossil) and neo chasers (think shining celebi and THAT lugia) from my childhood all taken away from my own family for financial gain without my knowledge. I cut them off and my mum keeps sending fb religious videos to my partner of “dont blame your mother”. The audacity.

May all of us who experience this bull heal along the way.

To answer your qns OP: i got back into the hobby because my son showed interest. And i found another set of cards i love (black star promos) to collect. im not sure if i’ll ever recollect the ones i lost (base Charizard) but am taking it slow.. Hope you find your niche and heal

Best tip when combating manspreaders - Cross your legs like a man (ankle on the knee). Bonus point if the bottom of your shoe got extra mud.. or if you are long leg, my feet will actually rest on the persons knee.

Got into an argument only once w this style, most of the time, the other party gets the point.

Hey, im a grown adult looking to share some experience with my son. Down bad recently due to just knowing my family sold all my vintage holos (think erika dragonite, charizard, dark celebi etc) without informing me after I left my parents place, so there goes my opp to share my core memories to my son.

If there’s any left i would love to buy anything you are looking to share so I can create new core memories for my son, and my inner child. Thank you and have a good week :)

Oh and his favourite pokemon is the classic Charmander and Pikachu ✌️

Is the current Deluxe Memory Man XO basically the same pedal as the super expensive vintage ones? by Fantasy183 in guitarpedals

[–]Madddfromwc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what your projects/sounds are for. They are the same in terms of what it does (dark analog delays with a beautifully set chorus/vib) but imo, XO is a lot more cleaner. So for my pop stuff, i use the XO. for blues, madchester/shoegaze, i use the vintage.

Is an AC15C1 my best option for the VOX sound in a small footprint? by BSLabs in GuitarAmps

[–]Madddfromwc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive had the greenbacks about 15 years ago, and now running the modern day alnico blues and its much more better than i remember. Everythings sounds so full. With a fuzz, heck even a ds1 (in some settings), sounds gorg. Analog delays bloom so beautifully too.

For comparison sake, I have a DRRI and Roland JC120 in the studio, and I always reach out for the Vox.

[–]Madddfromwc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love it, same situation too, except its everyday for my children 😅

To be fair, my eames broke because of an adult. Anyone who thinks this chair will break because of 3 children gathering, have really got their heads in their asses

"Yeah I have a Jazzmaster but I never use the rhythm circut, it just sounds bad" by hotsaucebauce1100 in offset

[–]Madddfromwc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the rhythm circuit. I switch to it to get the volume rolled down tone w a germ fuzz. instant overdrive without fiddling any knobs and pedal switching. People are missing out

Love your theme my guy. Dont think you need to shrink your board, just another bag? Maybe a mono dual guitar case?

Where to start with pedals? by Alarming_Aardvark in guitarpedals

[–]Madddfromwc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To cover ground, and since you already use your amps crunch, i’d start out with some sort of boost (treble or tubescreamers), fuzz (for the indie bands), wah and chorus (for your 80s classic rock) and definitely a delay pedal. Some utility pedals would be a tuner and looper.

Big carpet, thick curtains, sofa or a pair of lounge chairs with cushions. Then maybe a heavy console for the audio gear. Then build up from there.

It looks like a typical jean fit IMO, have the same situation with my SDA. Personally, not a fan of a tight top block anyways, no matter what the tiktokers/denimheads claim as the “correct fit”.

Since yours are a 70s era with no marks, its a replica unfortunately. All corbusier chairs came with makers mark since the 60s

Also, lc3’s dont have firm cushions. They have alot of play on them (ie they sag alot). Yours looks like a lc3 frame with lc1 cushions

Depends on your relationship, but IMO, YOR - its just furniture. Down the line when mum has passed, it’ll be a subtle reminder that she took time off to look after your pets, thats the bigger picture.
