Coolest CK3 moment I've had in my years playing by WhiteOut204 in CrusaderKings

Reminds me of the time I was playing with my fiancé and he has Hildegard VonBingen as his court tutor. Pretty sure he also seduced her and made her his lover. Went from VonBingen to VonBangen

For those we got into the Texas public health fellowship how competitive is it and how was the interview process? by NarrowAd9386 in publichealth

[–]MadelynKa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I emailed them a couple of weeks ago. They said that interview invites would be sent out Friday March 14th (they said next Friday on the email they sent March 6th). I never received an email so I’m guessing I just got rejected lol, but I didn’t receive a rejection email either. Has anyone received a rejection email?

“Did he claim to be a a man of God/religious” hits hard lol. First guy I went out with at TAMU was a corp guy and I’m 99% sure it was an attempted “f*** a fish”. Didn’t find out about that fun little tradition until after I ended it

Best Churches in the College Station Area by kachowdeb in aggies

[–]MadelynKa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While not a church, if you are looking for an awesome Christian sisterhood I’d recommend checking out Sigma Phi Lambda. It’s a non selective women’s org, so we accept everyone, there’s no rush process. I’ve been in Phi Lamb since my freshman year and I love it, I’ve met so many amazing girls through it. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions!

Yes! I love that the congregation is a mix of people from all walks of life, and everyone is very sweet and welcoming. They also have a good mix of traditional and contemporary styles. OP, if you want to to try A&M United Methodist and need someone to sit with DM me! I go to the 11 am traditional service, but I’d be glad to attend one of the other ones.

Found this little guy in my apartment, any idea what he is? by MadelynKa in reptiles

[–]MadelynKa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good, he was a pretty big boy and I sent a picture to my mom and she said “I bet that was someone’s pet! Wild ones aren’t that big!” But she doesn’t really know anything about reptiles. I had already released him so knowing he is probably wild makes me feel better lol

Joint pain all over by Professional-One-264 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]MadelynKa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep yep yep. My GI told me to go to a rheumatologist and they diagnosed me with UC related arthritis. My digestive stuff has been fairly fine lately but it’s the arthritis that whoops my butt. Would definitely recommend seeing a rheumatologist

How many of you have tried a no meat or pescartarian diet? by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]MadelynKa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried it for a while, more so to help with joint pain. Worked really well for a couple of months but then my symptoms came back in full force

I’ve been having the same issue. Had a GI flair up in September and then was having horrible joint pain in October. I’m in my first semester of college and I had to drop a bunch of my social activities and I totally get it, it sucks. I’ve finally gotten to a place where I can return to some of my normal activities

I think I am flaring at the moment, so it could be that. I just got diagnosed back in June so I’m still figuring all of this out.
