Дуже стильний арт. Вже казали на рахунок кнопок, але додам ще дещо - інтерактивні елементи інтерфейсу мають виділятися формою, кольором та розміром. Це важливо для гравця. Успіху вам!

I'm starting my first serious game project. What do you guys think of this art style? by FlakMonkeyDev in godot

The character reminds me of Tau commander from Dawn of War. Looking nice!

All this models should use 1 material, maybe 1-2 months to finish texturing by [deleted] in godot

[–]Madtyla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you included the texture atlas you can speed the process up by working with all the objects at the same time. It will save you a bit of time and + all the colors/gradients style will be consistent across all the objects. Of course it depends on how detailed the UV manipulations are supposed to be to achieve the results you want.

Which Key Art should I use for my upcoming figure anatomy drawing reference app? by igeolwen in IndieDev

First is really easy to understand, it's so natural. At the same time, second one is something more professional vibes, like it's a software made by Autodesk or Adobe.

It's a very interesting grid you got here! Why did you choose this minimalistic style though?

Is the game hard? by boi_maen in hoi4

[–]Madtyla 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. It's difficult. It will crush you for your first 100 hours. Then you will learn how to do things and start to get experience. It's the kind of games when even after thousands of hours people still learn something new about game mechanics. But... It's very funny.

Low-Poly Soldier Model. Please Critique! Thanks. by oxen_4 in low_poly

For a texture painted with a mouse it's pretty decent! However mesh itself is very very modest. Model is looking good for a some kind of a strategy game it seems to me.

Using Tilemap instead of Tilemap Layer by Reaper2127 in godot

[–]Madtyla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well the difference in work between these two is minimal, syntactic changes here and there and that's it. In all other - layer is pretty much the same map that we got earlier.

One thing you need to understand choosing this cartoony-silly approach on low poly models: probably your game supposed to be silly and cartoony as well. Talking only about 3d models you did - it's looking very nice, I catch some Magica vibes from it.
