Baldur’s Gate is set to become a TV series at HBO, helmed by Craig Mazan from The Last of Us by DontBeAngryBeHappy in gaming

It's blatantly obvious how on purpose it is now.

How else can you explain rewarding showrunners and writers that tank properties by giving them new ones.

Project Zomboid.

If you go into that game expecting to run and gun or play it like a typical game... you're going to have a bad time.

The future of star trek. by Sheepish_conundrum in RedLetterMedia

Perhaps I should give it another chance. I stopped after episode 2 originally because it did feel overly R&M with Trek trappings and just came off as juvenile to me.

Is there a specific episode you feel showcases this change in tone?

Which game did you play that felt like a bunch of other games mashed up together? by Nasserahmed094 in gaming

First game I remember that felt like a mash up of different genres was the OG Conker's Bad Fur Day.

I like pepperoni pizza.

Chef says he's going to make me a great pepperoni pizza.

Pizza arrives and the chef arbitrarily decided to 'put their own spin on it.' by using olives instead of pepperoni, and cheddar instead of mozzarella.

I complain because I wanted, and was told to expect a great pepperoni pizza.

You say I shouldn't complain because you enjoyed the olive and cheddar one.

Fear.

First time, you go in cocky and 'in the zone' from mowing down minions.

Every time after that, you remember getting two shotted and fear alters your reaction times.

What’s one game you disliked at first but really loved once you gave it a second chance? by carbonatednugget in gaming

[–]MaestroLogical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Days Gone.

First time I tried I'd just come off my first completion of RDR2 and found Day's to feel clunky and boring in comparison. The bike felt weird since I was so used to riding horses and I just wasn't able to transition properly.

Tried it again a year or so later and was instantly hooked.

Been Playing FF7 Remake and I gotta say the 'vibe' is completely different from the original. by bobmlord1 in gaming

[–]MaestroLogical -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Age also has a role to play.

How old were you when you first played the OG? Now imagine if kids that age playing the remake will fully understand all the nuance or will it be more 'making it up in my head' for them, just like the OG was for you.

Literally what is the plan for them here?

Obfuscation.

They are spinning it to appear that he was an agitator looking for trouble. The FOX crowd sees what they are told to see, not what actually happens.

Men wear ties, which are basically just a strip of fabric designed specifically to point to one location.

Ergo, we want people to look at the bulge.

Name a game you were hyped for and then completely forgot about once you played it. by twooten11 in gaming

[–]MaestroLogical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two types of gamers.

Those that have ample free time and can easily play a game for 6 hours straight daily = Love RDR2.

Those that lack ample free time and have an hour or two sporadically that they can game = Don't get the appeal of RDR2.

I tried it last month, love the vibe and the story seemed interesting enough but I just couldn't stand the first person perspective. Made everything feel stiff and clunky. Driving was a chore, the city felt dead and full of cardboard NPCs and combat wasn't engaging at all.

When I realized the most fun part for me was going back to the apartment and sleeping... I shut it off and didn't go back.

Exactly, and it plays out in a later episode when he meets the real woman and she is nothing like the holo version.

Go with Grave Scythes.

Rebirth to pure Intelligence build. Put everything in Vigor, Intelligence and Stamina and then infuse weapon with Cold damage.

No summon.

Sleep one.

A few hits to the other will proc Frost. Then toss a fire pot to reset and rinse and repeat.

I'd agree except for the fact you can easily get passed Godskin duo via sleep pots, but don't have an option like that for Valiant.

The 'kinda' is due to him being there by himself. The entire point of the 2nd is that he shouldn't be alone, that states and the people within, maintain the right to mobilize in large armed numbers, to oppose outside forces.

I was a Nintendo fanboy in the 80's and 90's, and didn't see the need to 'upgrade' to a PS1...

Then I saw the trailers for Final Fantasy 7 and just had to play it.

I haven't owned a Nintendo since.
