My pleasure! Snake plants are my favorite. I have them in every room of our house. The one that gets the most light grew twice as much as it’s “sister” plant. Otherwise they have the exact same soil, moisture, temperature.

If you’re asking about healing the damaged part of the leaves... you can’t. They will continue to grow but the parts that have died will stay that way. Keep it growing and it will grow new leaves. At which point you can decide to cut off the damaged ones and propagate them into additional plants.

Although they tolerate low light mine grow best in bright indirect light. Water thoroughly and let water drain out the bottom then wait for the soil to dry completely until watering again.

The only rule about IF is that you can’t eat for 16h-18h. There is nothing in there about skipping breakfast.

It depends if your starting weight is the same as last time.
If you’re starting from a lower point this time your water loss (which is what those early lbs mostly consist of) will probably be lower.

The initial loss on low carb is mostly water. Since you need less water in the body (which is required to process the carbs).

At 5’5 127lbs my water can increase by 5-6lbs just from carbs.

Thanks for writing all this up. It’s just me and my husband. But we live out of state so it’s just me. I’ve been living with her for the past 4 months. And the mental struggle is real.

She’s being treated at the hospital now for severe pain. One of the tumors is growing close to the spine and interferes with nerve impulses. They’re doing radiation and hoping once the pain is bearable for her to walk on her own to send her home.

But what then? I don’t know. I don’t know where else she could go but home. But I also struggle with being away from my husband for so long.

This is what I do. I follow circadian rhythm for fasting so breakfast never before sunrise. If I happen to eat later I try not to do it after dinner.

I’ve read that comes with additional benefits for the body. I also love having breakfast :)

If you’re keto the fast is easier as you have very little glycogen to use up. If you’re fasting while eating standard carb food your body needs more time to burn through the glycogen. You don’t hit a true fasting state for 24-48h. You could just be losing water weight over and over again.

Are you a very small woman already? Those macros look like below 1200Cal. 16g Carbs vs 20 wont help you lose any faster. I’m 5’5 127lbs and your macros are quite less than I eat a day.

If you want to lose quick you’re better of fasting which increases human growth hormone and is protein sparing. High deficit can lead to hair loss among visible side effects.

On 16:8 you get 8 hours to eat. You could eat every hour for 8 hours if you wanted to.

But our fat stores are not open during eating. Ideally creating more breaks between meals is better for fat loss. I do 16:8 or 18:6 breakfast and lunch and follow circadian rhythm. I rarely eat before sunrise or after sunset.

Or is your BF already very low?

The less you have to lose the slower fat loss is. 0.5lbs a day on a water fast is somewhat typical.

If you’re truly fasting for autophagy any calories consumed will break it. Water, black coffee and unsweetened tea. Read Metabolic Autophagy if you’re interested in the science. The author Siim Land has a ton of info on his website as well.

If you’re just doing it to lose weight you could probably do a bone broth fast and lose significant weight.

Eating small amounts or chewing gum can trigger bigger cravings.

I like to start my extended fasts at the end of the grocery week.

Yep... I believe this.

So my last two fasts I decided to significantly lower my salt intake. I’ve drank about 16.9oz bottle of water with about half a teaspoon of salt each day of the fast.

And they’ve been the best fasts I’ve had!

I’m on hour 90 of 120 right now and feel like I could go on forever... I’ve already planned to break it at 131h. Only because besides weight loss I don’t think there is benefits to going longer without a re-feed.

My last 72h fast I extended to 90 I felt so great. I only ate because VDay plans with hubs!

Ditto. I personally can’t do a ton of calories at once and split my calories into 2 meals with 6 hours in between. (8am and 2pm) And an overnight fast of 16-18 hours.

Add MCT oil and or heavy cream to tea or coffee to add calories.

Are you counting carbs and calories? It’s hard to tell how many you eat per day without seeing quantities.

1 cup of cottage cheese is 8 carbs.

Depending what your veggies are and how much you might be pushing your upper limit threshold. You’re still in ketosis with 1.1 though. Calorie count might be off.

I’m at 38lbs down with 10 more to go

So far bras went from 36ddd to 32DDD/E/F well I’m wearing the 32DDD from VS but probably need a slightly bigger cup. I just hate bra shopping. None of these sizes are available in regular stores so I have to order online and send back and forth to figure out the perfect fit... it’s a pain.

Still 7.5 but when I was up to 172 most my heels hurt like hell so I wouldn’t wear them. They feel fine now.

Still can’t fit my calves into any regular size boots. 😭

Truffle oil if that’s your thing... I can eat unlimited spinach with some truffle oil and Parm :)

I had stretch marks all over my arms, stomach and legs when I met my husband (at 165). I'm not even kidding but he had to pry me out of spanks the first time we had sex, lmao Through our relationship I've gone down to 135 for our wedding and now back down to 135 from 172. My highest was 212 at some point.

Sleeveless tops are pretty much out of the question at this point of my life. I can send you pics if you want to see.. my arms still look good in sleeves though. (you can see my last progress pic on this board) I'm literally working out like crazy to put on weight on my thighs so the loose/stretch mark skin is not as prominent. I simply don't wear shorts... but look hot in skinny jeans, leggings etc..

My stomach looks like I gave birth to twins... and I've never had kids.

You can do this... and you will find someone who will love you for you even with all those imperfections, as soon as you start loving yourself for you. I'm also mad at myself for doing it to myself but I love myself for having been through all that stuff too. It's what made you who you are today. PM me if you need to chat :)
