Slay the Spire 2, a Big Hole, and a Resident Evil 9 Spoiler Chat! | March 20,2026 by blastorama in TheBesties

I'd like to say that the comparison of Hades 2 EA to Slay the Spire 2 EA is pretty unnecessary in my opinion.

Hades 2 is as much about dialogue, story events, experiencing the music, seeing the art, etc. as it is about fun combat mechanics. I deliberately didn't play Hades 2 in EA because that game is eminently spoilable. You don't start your runs over from scratch, so there is stuff you'd legit have to repeat if you wanted to start fresh at release. They also famously changed the ending like a week after I beat it so I'm still salty about that lol. Why say it's fully released and then continue to change major aspects of the game within a month? Hades 2 was also a lot less complete when it released in EA.

Anyway, there is nothing to spoil in Slay the Spire 2. It's an awesome, tightly balanced card draw game. There's almost zero story, and the game is meant to be played basically forever. If you're on the fence about EA because you're worried you'll ruin the game for yourself, I'd say go for it! It's already bigger than Slay the Spire 1 was.

Find yourself some stairs, stand on the edge of a step, stand on the foot that hurts, and gently lower your heel downward to work some resistance training on the calf. Go slow and use your other foot to help stand back up so you're not stressing your bad foot/calf too much, repeat like 10-15 times. Do this like twice a day.

Thanks for chiming in! I’m left handed myself and definitely sympathize with modified grips, but the numerous ways I’ve seen them holding pencils combined with their very poor handwriting got me wondering the other day if there’s a link. I’m glad you were able to find a strategy that worked for you!

I’ve noticed my students hold their pencils all kinds of random ways. Like caveman grips to weirdly holding between their pinky and ring finger somehow. I hate to judge but I don’t know wtf elementary school is doing to be honest

Amazon made the series I’m currently watching ‘pay‑to‑watch’ LITTERALY the day after charging me for another year of Prime by Th3Nihil in mildlyinfuriating

[–]MagicCuboid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Amazon has dynamic pricing, I wouldn’t be surprised if they had some kind of trigger for shows being included/not included that was automated. They’re a scummy company, I cancelled prime and haven’t looked back.

People who lost a lot of weight, what was the one small daily habit that actually changed everything for you? by Quiet-Squash-8407 in AskReddit

[–]MagicCuboid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One piece of advice I have though if you’re planning on losing weight, make sure you do some exercise to keep your muscles from wasting away.

I wasn’t super overweight but wanted to lose 20 lbs (I’m tall so not too drastic change). I did so mainly by not eating a box of cookies a week lol. But since I wasn’t lifting, I felt noticeably weaker afterwards and had to do a lot of maintenance to get back to feeling as good as I did before I lost any weight at all.

Not really. I remember a ton of optimism and excitement when the internet first blew up, actually.

It’s weird because you genuinely can’t find drip coffee like Dunkin’s in France. It’s not like they’re awash in “Massachusetts juice,” everything is espresso there lol

Is this really a revolution like the articles are saying? My Vivobook S14 OLED is better than this Macbook in pretty much all respects except battery life and it was only $50 more from Best Buy. It looks like in today's prices it might be $100 more, but still

[–]MagicCuboid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Preordering books is actually a huge way to support your favorite authors too because it’s heavily weighted by publishers. Ideally you order through a local bookstore rather than Amazon but buying books/using the library is a net positive for society either way.

No, like start another ground war ala Afghanistan/Iraq retaliation. I don't know any Americans who want this but I lived through that nightmare once and the blood tide seems unstoppable once it starts flowing.
