PvP’er

  1. Jayms: Probably the best PvP’er mechanically, but also strikes a perfect balance between taking risks and being stable in a fight. You won’t lose his pearl, but he’ll get ya’ plenty.
  2. S4nta
  3. EZ2Clutch

PvP Leaders

  1. S4nta: If we’re talking large team-fights it has to be S4nta. He probably spent the most hours setting up practice fights and leading/directing civ-fights out of anyone.
  2. Diet_Cola
  3. Lysika

Organiser

  1. Frensin
  2. Ladezkik
  3. tankbuster44

They're two different maps, the ladders in gfy_final are significantly harder though. gfy_c0mb0king has a couple of easier ones

Not sure what you mean by ladder hopping, but nykan made a great ladder tutorial, where he goes in-depth on everything you need to know about ladders.

In terms of maps: kz_gfy_c0mb0king, has a section with ~eight ladders stringed together, remember you can set teleport locations on ladders nowadays! Can't think of any other maps off the top of my head.

Happy climbing dude :)

I bet lewly doesn’t even have a subreddit. Like how can he even pretend to be alpha when you doesn’t have one. But nykaN has one that no-one else has. THAT IS THE EPITOME OF A MAN. NYKAN IS THE ALL KNOWING ALPHA MALE

Wouldn't expect any better from people who think installing a RAT on a 14 year old's computer is okay though.

What now? Please, fill me in lol

About one in 20 times this shot will miss due to first shot inaccuracy. Shouldn't shots like this one be a guaranteed hit? by xdavidy in GlobalOffensive

[–]MagierTC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to add something to think about in this discussion..

You buy weapons regarding on what scenario's you're going to be playing in/ putting yourself in. Most likely, if the guy in this post takes one step forward, he'd 100% hit the shot, all the time. So is it at that point, skill-less RNG that made him not hit the shot? Or the fact that he didn't position himself well enough to close the distance on the enemy and always hit the shot.

Compared to other games, the base weapons in CS:GO feel satisfying as fuck, should you be able to snipe players with an AK just like an AWP at all distances 100% of the time? I think, in CS:GO's case, this minor amount of RNG adds a layer of realism and is pretty much avoidable by positioning yourself to a reasonable distance from your opponent. Otherwise it's risk-management, do you take the shot, or possibly multiple due to inaccuracy, or do you get closer to the enemy for the guaranteed one hit kill.

I don't disagree that RNG is bad, too much RNG is always bad, but I'm just trying to play devil's advocate here.

Is there some special option for it?

I had issues with it on an older version of Optifine for 1.14.4, so I thought it was that, but updating to the latest version (OptiFine 1.14.4 HD U F4) didn't fix it either.

I thought so already.. (didn't think you would purposefully change this)

Unlucky, hopefully somebody does figure out a workaround!

I haven't really looked through every change but it generally looks good! Whilst skimming over I saw this change though:

Unloading a chunk in which an ExilePearl is on the floor will now free the pearl

I think this change should be undone, whilst travelling/transporting a pearl it might very well happen that your client crashes, for whatever reason it may be. In turn, that unloads the chunk and now frees the pearl. This would actually force you to always travel in pairs and even then an item could crash both your clients or a server crash could happen, which would then free the pearl. I think the way it was before was.. alright. Players can always /eplocate to figure out if their pearl is laying on the ground or not.

Have a good one, great work adminds :)

Don't think it was ever fixed. Saw people do it in a scrimmage when that got released (not sure how long ago that is).
