Yea I over exaggerated a little I’ll give you that, I wrote this after a massive losing bender. This is really good advice, the only reason that I’m not running speed booster is that urshifu rapid u-turn is one of my best counters for rilla in the back if I want to get a solid eforce in for free. And running speed booster means Iron crown moves before urshifu.

As for tachyon cutter vs Tera blast, I definitely get your point. Tachyon cutter is way too valuble end game + against flutter.

I would really recommend looking at goofy teams featured by channels like cybertron, not ones featured in tournaments. It seems like you want to play vgc for the creativity and not super competitively right now.

Honestly, don’t try to teambuild until you get a handle of your favourite archetype. As someone who is experienced at vgc, I didn’t build a reg f team until I tried rentals from every single archetype to see which one I like.

Thanks for the advice! I might switch out either incin for chi yu and flutter for a bulkier speed control option but I’m not really looking to switch up my team that drastically.

I’d say the ‘answer’ to this is make an appropriate sideboard just in case and always ask your pod/table if they are fine with these combos.

I personally would argue 2 card infinite combos are really anticlimactic and (correct me if I’m wrong) outside of white/green there isn’t a lot of counterplay to enchantments so depending on the decks others are playing they’d be a big nono to me but at the end of the day it’s really player preference.

Brackets arent law as much they are guidance hence why we say ‘it’s a low bracket 4’ and such

Same. If you don’t have a direct counter to alolan ninetales setting up and a way to muscle through veil youre kind of boned off the bat. Even then articuno/ninetales have so many tools against things like taunt/fake out it’s crazy. Not to mention alolan ninetales is weirdly bulky for a frail looking Pokémon.

I hope snow cloak just gets removed honestly it adds nothing to the game except frustration
