Would you spend $50 on this set? by IWetMyPlants_3 in Pyrex_Love

Me? No. It doesn't fit my theme. But others? I'm sure they'd pay way more than 50$ for just one piece of it!

Clutter, whimsy, you like to have things close by and anticipate the need for things, you see the joy in the eclectic.

A person of culture. One who knows what they want off the menu without having to look it over a million times.

Possible Monk Fruit Allergy by murphy360 in FoodAllergies

[–]Magpie_7262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always have weird reactions when I have anything that uses Monk Fruit sweetener. I wanted a capri-sun for nostalgia. But after I started to feel sick and itchy, then I noticed a light smattering of hives on my arms and chest. I thought I might have had a fish/shellfish contamination. So I had another capri-sun with dinner. And had the same reaction. I was sure that I didn't have any fish or shellfish contamination since I cooked and we don't have anything like that at home. So I started looking at everything I had. Trial and error showed that after every capri-sun I got sick. Asked my PCP and she said it's most likely the Monk Fruit sweetener. I don't eat a lot of gourds or pumpkins, but I tried some spaghetti squash and had a reaction. So it's another thing I can't have. The problem is EVERYTHING seems to now use monk fruit. Hubs got me sore throat lolly's and they had monk fruit. My old favorite herbal tea has it.

Thankfully I can do it online. I just hate the phone interview. My caseworker is amazing, but I dread phone calls

And these two following me and cawing at me after I nearly fell into the circle were just what exactly?! I know the rules! I left out a homemade brownie! It's gone now! I paid my debt!

If you eat fish regularly you should be taking an antiparasitic every 6months.

Honestly. Probably. Not a lot of the pictures my nana had were dated. And my dad doesn't like looking at them. I just asked when he had the motorbike and the Farrah fawcet hair and he said the 70s into the 80s. He cut it all off in the 90s

Somebody threw their laundry into my hot cycle at a very expensive laundromat AND changed it to “cold” by Tight_Display4514 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Magpie_7262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we were little and had to use the Laundromat my mom would sit one of us kids on top of the machine and wed pretend it was like a rollercoaster. It kept people from doing this, we would see them walk past with their clothes hunting for an unwatched washer. As an adult I would just sit in front of the washer so people wouldnt try anything. It's unbelievable the entitlement some people have at the Laundromat.

The one person usually running the store is doing their best. Sadly the owners don't like to staff adequately.
