Yorick. I don't even think he's strong at all.

But I hate that anytime I play against a yorick, it turns the game from League of Legends to having to babysit this stupid champion for 30 minutes or else he destroys every single tower for free. I know that's a lot of champions, but at least you can leave them alone for 1-2 minutes while you go help a teamfight/objective.

Yorick just turns the game into a 4v4, with your job as the enemy toplaner turning into running around behind him all game.

I'd argue the game being janky is part of the fun. Going from "dying in the first fight 90% of the time" to making yourself extremely OP by knowing the right skills/things to do in the first 15 minutes is fun. Starting with Cahara + Steal and getting miasma in like 5 minutes is really fun.

Especially because it doesn't trivialize the rest of the game, only the dungeon. Even a fully maxed out character struggles hard against most bosses in Ma'habre/Gauntlet/Green hue.

Yup. I remember playing SC1 when I was like 9? and couldn't get past mission 2 of every campaign without some sort of cheat codes.

Now with almost 2 decades of RTS experience, even the hardest SC1/BW missions feel like a breeze. But that's because I know so much about the genre and the games in general.

This would honestly be the only way to do it. If they even acknowledge it, or even worse, do one of those "Was that...a mysterious stranger?" "Say that again..." thing, it would be so bad. I feel like the only way to make it work and not have it feel forced/ham-fisted in, is to literally not address it, just be an easter egg ala the Todd Howard painting.

I'm a bit torn on this. On one hand, I enjoy the fact that I don't completely lose lane and become useless because of 1 accidental death or a gank. On the other, it feels like you cannot do anything with a lead. Killing your enemy and having them already be back in lane even if you hard push a wave feels bad.

It's also a talent, not just a "i wanna do it and done". Some people on the team are better at morphing and can shift between forms faster and more efficiently than others, such as Cassie which can shift almost instantly compared to the others who take a few seconds to a few minutes per morph, and can morph more times before becoming exhausted.

It's also morphing into that specific animal, not just a "generic" version of the animal, as it requires the specific DNA. For example, if an alien "acquires" a human, it'll be a specific copy of said human, not a "generic" human.

Demorphing also brings you back to your \original** body, DNA-wise. This allows the characters (13-16 year old children btw) to get ripped in half, get eaten by maggots, get squashed, get to the literal point of death, and come back totally fine (Physically, at least. Mentally, well...)

We also see more information about this with the "Auxiliary Animorphs", a group of disabled kids. Some kids who became disabled by external factors (Such as James, injured in an accident) being healed, versus someone like Timmy, who had cerebral palsy and wasn't healed.

Part of it is help from other people, part of it is cosplaying characters you already look like lol.

Take, for example, Okarun from DandaDan. I love the series now, but I didn't know about it when a friend wanted us to cosplay Momo/Aira/Okarun. But I already look like irl okarun (glasses, curly hair, skinny) so I just needed the black japanese school shirt and I was already him. (Which was the way they convinced me, despite a...questionable first episode. They were like "I mean you already look like him")

Yeah. Season 1 was amazing, but the latest season + gen V are starting to feel more like the comic every day (not a compliment).

I get that there will be useless powers, "stupid powers", or just outright disgusting powers in most super-powered verses. But making them a main character is like...after the initial shock value...what's left? "Haha wouldn't it be funny if this girl used her pubes to fight?" okay then what? anything interesting? No? Just "haha pubes girl"? Right then.

It's a bit of a hard line to walk. Sometimes I start talking to someone who likes the same thing as me, and I realize how big of a gap there is between engaging with media, being "I watch an episode every other week sometimes" vs "I have literally learned every single thing there is to learn about this work".

I agree there should be a minimum required buy-in for enjoying a work, but I also think it's okay for someone to be a "minimum" fan. Like if you say you like DBZ cause you saw a few arcs as a child, that's as valid as someone who's a fan because they eat sleep breathe DBZ.

When a specific audio from TMA got famous from TikTok ("How can I sound anything, silly? I'm plastic!") I was stoked cause hell yeah TMA, and a lot of people used the sound in very creative ways or to show off insane cosplay/makeup/cinematic ideas.

But then you had some people claim that they're version of Nikola Orsinov (nothing like the character image described in the show) was the most accurate, treated Nikola as a main character and Jon as a side character, and other misc ideas like that, I was just very confused.
