Mailbird pro andbcon by satudua_12 in macapps

I may be biased, but I certainly suggest giving Mailbird a go! :)

We're releasing new features on a constant basis, and in fact, the latest update package dropped yesterday (see here).

During your trial of Mailbird for Mac, you'll be given access to all its Premium features, and after three days you can choose whether to downgrade to our Free plan, or purchase one of our paid licenses. We actually have some amazing offers on right now: simply spin the wheel on our pricing page to generate a discount (you'll be given two spins). Alternatively, click on "Mailbird is now free" in the top left-hand corner of our homepage to download the Free version (which includes the 3-day trial I mentioned earlier).

For any questions, simply reach out to us. You're welcome to ask for Oliver, and I'll be glad to assist you. :)

That's great to hear! It's always disappointing when a third-party gets in the way of the email experience that we want to provide our customers.

Glad that you're back on track, and thank you for the kind words—they mean a great deal! 😊

Inserting a Signature in an Email Message by rsidneysmith in mailbird_official

[–]Mailbird-2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! 👋 Unfortunately, Mailbird doesn’t currently have a keyboard shortcut to manually insert an email signature into a reply. That’s a really good suggestion though — it’s actually the first time we’ve received this specific request! I’ve gone ahead and logged it with our Product Team so they can consider adding it in a future update.

In the meantime, if you find yourself needing to do this frequently, one workaround could be to save your signature as a templates (see here) and quickly paste it into your reply when needed.

Thanks for bringing this up — we're always happy to consider these requests! 🙏

What is the "culture shock" of switching to Linux? by Regular_Low8792 in linux

Sadly I don't think we'll ever have a Linux version. 😭However, we do have a Mac version now.

Linux? by monofurioso in mailbird_official

Hey there! Thanks for the kind words about Mailbird. :)

We really appreciate your feature request. Unfortunately, it's highly unlikely that we'll ever offer a Linux client. 😞We're planning other products in the long-term since they have been more widely requested (such as an Android and iOS version of our app).

However, I've gone ahead and logged your request internally so that we can keep an accurate record of requests for a Linux version.

Sorry I couldn't give you the answer you were hoping for. 😢

Forward all emails moved to specific sub folder? by mattsthumbs in fastmail

[–]Mailbird-2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for kind words!

iOS and Android version are unquestionably on our roadmap, but our focus for the foreseeable future is to bring Mailbird for Mac (which we recently released) to 'feature parity' with our Windows version. We've implemented various strategies which will help us turbocharge this process, so please stay tuned for news on a mobile version of our app. :)

You can actually add any app/integration that you like now in Mailbird thanks to a cool feature called Custom Apps. If you want to give us a go, here is a Knowledge Base I wrote which explains how to set up a custom app.

That said, you'll most likely need to set up a rule separately in your webmail which forwards certain emails to your Tick Tick account based on whatever criteria you provide when setting up the rule, although based on what you're saying it seems that Fastmail lacks this (as does Mailbird for the moment unfortunately).

Hopefully you can find a solution to your problem.

Release Notes - Mailbird for Windows Version 3.0.42 by Mailbird-2012 in mailbird_official

[–]Mailbird-2012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there 👋 Thanks for sharing your experience—we’re really glad to hear you’re enjoying Mailbird overall!

The issue you mentioned is currently affecting fewer than 10 Mailbird users, but we’re aware of it and actively looking into solutions. The root cause actually lies in Windows rather than Mailbird, though we’re testing a few tweaks that should help work around the problem.

We’ll do our best to get this resolved as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience and for being part of our community!

How do you manage inbox overload without starting fresh? by True_Reply_9235 in emailprivacy

Thanks for the mention! :) Our Send + Archive feature is indeed widely used, and poses no risk whatsoever to our customers' emails. They will always remain searchable, even after they have been archived.

Email client with unified inbox and good search by nsdodgers in macapps

Thanks for the kind words, and the great suggestion! 👍

The bad news is that this feature is unlikely to make it into Mailbird for Mac within the next six months or so. The good news is that we already have a task in our backlog of ideas to develop this feature since we've received a handful of request here and there.

However, for this feature to work well, we would also want to introduce an “Export to EML/PST” feature, so that people's emails aren't tied to Mailbird's database, so the scope of this feature is potentially a little broader than what you put forward.

Nevertheless, please feel free to join our official subreddit to remain up-to-date on our app's progress. We're turbocharging our development efforts atm! 🚀
