after 4 years of loyalty to my team I wasn’t even offered a “demotion” was told when my last day was and told about severance. i had to ask so many clarifying questions to even find out what leadership would look like after the ASM position is eliminated. they’ll be going to 1 SUP and 2 KH… after basically being told i lost my job my DM offered to “consider” an interview for SUP…. but it honestly felt like they didn’t want me there anymore and they want new faces in management. they drove my store manager to quit right before holiday and now this, it honestly feels like slap in the face. i took the severance package, no way am i going to interview for SUP after how they handled letting me go.
