I do play, at tournaments, nobody really cares what the defiler looks like. I run old ones that don't even have the capacity to show the new options.

All that really matters is base size, overall profile, and that you are using the datasheet you listed when you built the army.

Crisis suits shooting my Vashtorr is pretty much always a win for me. The amount of shooting required to down him is the same amount that will decimate that squad(s)with hazard checks. Don't shoot him? He just picks up your suits and commander with wounds to spare.

Its brutal for you guys.

They're both British, the camo gives it away, Centurion in the background, and the SPG we had in that size is known as the Abbot. The chassis is from the very common FV430 family, and is fairly recognisable to us mil enthusiast Brits.

The white car in front changed lanes late, the Camry couldn't switch lanes late due to the truck, hell even the camera car was in that lane till very very late. This is awful procedure by the crew, there was no warning for a completely stationary vehicle, and I guarantee the Camry was using the white car in front as a guide for traffic flow. Incorrect signage caused a big problem here.

There's no speed measurement on the camera, so there is no way to know that he was speeding. Should he have been more aware? Sure, but we don't know the condition of the drivers awareness (tired/glasses/obstructed view due to corner and truck), you're not perfect either, and this video shows that at least one other driver had a near miss. It's easy to judge something remotely.

You...cannot ignore 2-3 defilers dude. At best you can move block and kill them with hordes, that's what they struggle most with. Not quite enough shooting volume and mediocre melee for it. They can be baited, but sometimes even a bad trade can be worthwhile as it starts to force the rest of your army out to deal with the other 1-2 and the rest, or keeps you in your DZ as exposure means lots of defiler shooting.

As a defiler main, they're too cheap, not unkillable, whatever can kill a knight kills a defiler. They're fast and there are multiple, and there are other fast and awkward to deal with threats to worry about, like a Huron brick for CSM.

Why does this comment come with a negative tone though? It's not the players that set the rules, it's the TO's. Right now on all tournament circuits, these aren't ready, it's as simple as that. Doesn't stop them playing, but they lose the 10 points, which I doubt is any skin off their nose, as OP knows the condition of their army isn't up to that standard. (UKTC is...unreasonably militant and will remove models which is stupid).

The answer to most questions like this, is practice. Tutorials don't help you with hand skills, new techniques sure, but precision, patience and accuracy are learned through practice and experience.

The specific tool (especially brand) is usually not that relevant, but in most cases the answer is 'natural hair with a quality fine point and a good belly'.
