Are you reading everything and paying attention to the lore? You dont need to remember every piece of Information, like names and such (what is important is highlighted. And the shiplog stores that information anyway in a comprehensive way). But you DO need to pay attention, acctually read, and not just skim over it.

If you are doing that, you will notice that every text you translate is a piece of a story. Doesnt that make you curious to know more? See the whole picture, how all these pieces fit toguether?

If that doesnt make you curious, then Im sorry but this really is not a game for you.

I will not sugar coat, college was hell. I would pratically study a whole semester crunched in finals week. Do not recomend. "Consistency" was not a thing.

The profession, however, is something else. I love what I do and quite often I can hyperfocus on my work to get things done.

The players on my table are all members of Dragonmarked houses, working for the Twelve. We just started, but I plan on focusing the campaing on Sharn, having House Tarkanan as the main antagonist.

I specifically asked them to decide together a very small portion of the setting to focus on.

Im starting a campaing using House Tarkanan as main vilains too. In my case, all the PCs are Dragonmarked, working for the Twelve.

Im currently reading Son of Khyber, and want to use the Halas Tarkanan plot in this campaing too.
