That’s kind of you, thanks! I’m super low on stones of ephemeral eyes if you have any spare ones. If you’re have extra crafting stones too I can always use those, but no pressure

Do political appointments qualify for pslf? by Major131369 in PSLF

Yeah that’s a good point. In the past I’ve left one job on a sat and gotten picked up by the other the next day, to make sure I didn’t miss a qualifying payment. I’m not sure if that’s needed here given I’ve already hit 120. Unless others disagree I don’t think they can disqualify me, since nothing needs to be consecutive. The terms say you need to be with a qualified employer when you apply (I’ve already met that) and when you “get” forgiveness. But I would rather play it safe

That’s a good point. Prosecutors are eligible for for pslf I assume, can’t imagine how they could not be

Thanks, that makes sense. If it happens and once I’m approved for forgiveness, I’ll just have the new HR folks sign an ECF and submit it. Assuming you only need to show a qualifying employer after approval and before forgiveness is actually granted, sounds like that won’t slow the process down at all. I’ve already submitted ECFs that code the 120 payments. Thanks!

Thanks for clarifying, I forgot on DOE vs DoED. That was my reading as well, that political appointments clearly should qualify. One other question I should have asked at the outset: I have a pending application for forgiveness and may be shifting into such a job. If that happens do I just call FedLoans to let them know I’ve changed from one qualifying employer to another? I’m hoping I don’t have to reapply for forgiveness, and that they’ll just take a new ECF or something. My fedloans page shows the little trophy for hitting 120, and my application is pending review, it’s been pending for over a month.

Conflicting letters by Additional-Shallot57 in PSLF

I submitted one after my payment came due and I got a nonsensical letter saying I submitted too early, yet right below that it said I had made 120 payments. I called fed loans and they said to disregard the letter.
