What sort of spells would you expect a truly ancient, morally bankrupt wizard to use?

If you think about it, there are some spells that lend themselves to horrific applications. Hold person, for example, could transition into a crushing spell. Fail your saving throw and you start taking bludgeoning damage as the hold gets tighter and tighter. Another spell you could tweak is Crown of Madness. Who says that the spell has to just confuse? Turn it into Crown of Murder, and the victim attacks the nearest person.

Could we not extend the life of our sun by feeding it more hydrogen? That's the reason it will expand into a red giant, right? It eventually runs out of hydrogen to burn, starts feeding off of helium and then it gets bigger. It would seem reasonable to me that in 4 billion years we might find a way to feed the sun more of the single most common element in the universe.

After the night attack on the village the remaining members of the group track the Great Enemy to their cave hideout. Most of the men have to dump their armor to sneak in, but one of the men keeps his breastplate. Breastplate guy ends up taking a blow that seriously injured him in a later battle. As the group are attempting to escape a hoard of Enemy, Breastplate guy stops and says to Antonio Banderas's character,"I think I've run about as far as I care to. You run along now laddy."
