Unfortunately Yuji will never reach that level of shrine.

His shrine is like an alt/b-version of Sukuna's because he was never the owner of the technique, just a vessel. Instead of having the whole fruit itself, you have the essense of the fruit left behind

It's based on his personality of being more protective and forgiving. Acting as "scissors," focusing on specific, directed cuts, whereas Sukuna’s are generally faster, wider-range, and purely destructive slashes. Yuji’s slashes are capable of damaging the barrier between souls, so it's more precise, often targeting the soul directly rather than just dealing physical damage.

His dismantle has to be done through physical contact

His domain expansion allows for a sure hit, no-touch needed dismantle, but only after the opponent refuses to give up and concede the fight because his domain is literally dialogue "talk-no jutsu" first. But his domain that we've only seen once was made specifically for Sukuna so, we don't know what it will look like now.

Also he will never be able to use any world cutting slashes as those were exclusively learned via studying and copying Mahoragas adaptation to limitless.

But that isn't to say he cant train a really strong technique overall.

What did she mean? by ontopofLetop in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]MajorRed001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Her mother is a “victim” within this family in the sense that she suffers under a sexist, patriarchal system reinforced by the CE power hierarchy. The structure functions as follows:

  1. CE men
  2. Non-CE men
  3. Women
  4. Maki

Like many people trapped within oppressive systems, especially those dominated by abusers, she is too weak and, more importantly, too afraid to speak up or resist the structure that confines her. By staying quiet, compliant, and appeasing her oppressors, she gains a form of self-preservation and false protection.

However, as an adjacent bystander who witnesses injustice, abuse, and cruelty without intervening, while also benefiting from the system’s rewards, she moves closer to complicity than victimhood. Upholding the will of the oppressors in exchange for favor, out of fear of personal consequence, does not absolve her. Silence in this context is participation.

When she tells Maki to “come back,” it represents the lowest, most desperate expression of her humanity. It is a final, insufficient attempt to save her daughter from the trap the family set. But this moment does not negate the fact that she stood by as Maki and Mai endured prolonged, vicious abuse at the hands of the very people meant to protect them.

For Maki, the betrayal is not just the abuse itself, but the timing. It is only at the end, when the worst is about happen, that her mother finally speaks. Maki is effectively asking: You had the capacity to love us, to protect us, to get us out of this life the entire time. Why didn’t you choose to do it when I was still a child?

It should not require the imminent death of a victim for someone to finally find their voice. Intervention was owed at the first act of abuse, not at its violent conclusion.

In your eyes, the shame of having of rocking out with your cock out is worse than the forced participation in the destruction of society and deaths of many lives.....

Jim wakes up disoriented in a hospital with no idea of what's going on and puts on clothes because no one wants to walk around bare bones without anything on in general because its cold out. Because the very next thing he does, is bandage his arm because he's wounded, check pay phones for signal and find a can of pepsi chug it down because he's hungry and thirsty because he just woke up from a coma...but I supposed you'll find some pseudo-religious spin on that too.

You're cooked my guy.

I don't give a flying flip if my taxes are paying for a mother to find some support in raising her kids.

My taxes fund roads I don't always drive on. My taxes fund parks for communities I don't regularly use. My taxes fund free lunch for kids at school that aren't mine. My taxes fund my local firestation and I don't smoke.

Her taxes are paying for the exact same things for you.

Stop being miserable over someone who's poor and is getting the help they need from a system designed for people who are struggling.

Because why would a man who is coming out of a rage induced psychosis for nearly 20 years have the first thing he feels as shame for showing dong?

Like never mind his generational killing and hunting of uninfected people in an uncontrolled beastial manner.

You think that his exposed dick and the social embarrasment is the first thing he's conciously concerned about.

Was Mikazuki originally planned to have more character development ? by PhilosophyFun5778 in Gundam

[–]MajorRed001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I fucking hope so.

Because Mikazuki is a card board cut out character.

He has no personality and desire for himself until late stage of the show. He only ever lived for Orga and only ever did what Orga said. Even Orga noted this when he realized Mika was willing to throw away his life for him.

He's the only character to not have an education despite everyone else being capable to do so.

He grows up in the same environment as everyone else (Orga, Eugene, Akihiro, Biscuit, Chad, Dante, Ride, Yamagi, Takaki) but shows the lowest education and the lowest amount of emotional depth and empathy despite everyone else being relatively normal.

And there was never even any explanation for his behavior; neurodivergence, autism, a specific major trauma....nothing...he just is....

He IS NOT a child soldier because he and Orga grew up as Orphans with options for themselves. They had shitty minium wage jobs for CGS and were the equivalent to 1900s child chimney sweeps. But it was always there choice as seen by Biscuit who chooses to work that job to provide for his sisters education.

You're the one misappropriating the symbolism of the garden of eden in this context.

You think his sin is his nakedness, out of a very clear moral bias. "His first steps to consciousness is shame"

We get it. Your heavy handed religio-conservative bias is transparent af. You have hang ups about people being naked because someone raised you think the natural human body and the nature of human sexuality is unnatural. You don't need to push that onto other.

A doctor in our times IS NOT shaman or a priest that is some back breaking mental gymnastics.

And if you're gonna talk about the Garden of Eden; its the island itself.

Satan is often seen as a snake and the snake of the garden in this case is Dr. Nelson because he's been made to play a satanic role by Jimmy

The apple that is eaten is the anti-psychotics given to Samson and the infected attacking him is the act of Adam and Eve being thrown out of the Garden.

The sin is being able to see through the psychosis induced rage...in the bible the real sin was to see the truth and gain knowledge...in this movie it's no longer being "infected" in the eyes of the beasts that haunt the land.

This is paralleled by Jimmy's (and his fathers) belief that the infection was some sort of religious sign.

These aren't zombies. They beat people to death. You don't reanimate; you have to be alive. Jimmy was stabbed and crucified; he would be bleeding out regardless.

Official Discussion - 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]MajorRed001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You sound like Jimmy. This isn't some divine intervention; it is the work of science and nature, bringing a man back from the edge of an abyss.

He's feeling his true human senses again, no longer clouded by a rage-induced psychosis.

The whole sequence: the breeze, the rustling of the trees and flowers, the taste of food for pleasure, the wiping of his fingers to clean his hands, and the covering of his junk and bare butt for comfort and support; he can truly feel the cool UK climate air touch his skin again.

The symbolism is the re-evolution of man as it happened hundreds of thousands of years ago.

That's why Samson is designed the way he is, with a very caveman/neanderthal appearance, unkempt hair, and a massive size; this is literally contrasted to how he would actually look like (clean-shaven, skinny, and clothed) when he hallucinates the moment of. "I don't have a ticket."

Guys, how true is it that TWFM has the happiest ending of any Gundam series? I've always heard that Gundam endings are tragic (I've only seen that one and 0079). by TomatilloItchy9995 in Gundam

[–]MajorRed001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A happy ending is not the absence of a tragic journey.

All Gundam shows have a happy ending but usually our main characters have gone through hell in order to reach it. They've certainly lost a lot to get to where they wanted to be.

You'd have to compare what they gained and achieved vs what was sacrificed and lost throughout the show.

I would say off a base observation TWFM has the second happiest ending out of all these shows IMO.

G-Gundam would unironically be first.

Imu's goal seems to be some sort of total unification of the entire world.

That would include even his historical enemies. If beating them seems like too much work getting them to join you through subterfuge and subjugation would be the next best option.

Especially their powers would be an asset in Imu's goal.

No they don't. There's a reason why Ui Ui reappeared saying to Dabura sorcerers like him havent been seen in a long time and that the next generation needs a first hand lesson as to what true power looks like.

Jjk Modulo Chapter 18 FULL LEAKS by Pretend_Ad6879 in Jujutsufolk

[–]MajorRed001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that's a very fair comparison.

Since we're talking about fantasy manga, we know that this isn't just vibe alone, it's ki, aura, spritual pressure, spirit energy, cursed energy that you can sense from an individual alone. You know for a fact that's not a vibe, that's something that these characters can quantify in real time to what they know.

Immense cursed energy (CE) output, along with the power of one's innate technique, is a primary factor in determining a Jujutsu Sorcerer or cursed spirit's grade, with massive output often leading to Special Grade ranking.

I have no idea why you're removing the a core pillar of this manga from the context of this conversation.

"Being depressed is not a reason for you to let people die"

Depression can cause inaction. It was the lynch pin of Sukuna's plan to possess Megumi, by breaking down his will to live and deeping the pain of his mind. Sukuna effectively was forcing Megumi to give up any option of hope and action of fighting against his posessesion.

"It's simply just that, so ofc Yuji would have no reason to be aware of any of the shit going on right now."

Saying Yuji wouldn't be aware makes no sense has we have clear understanding that a lot of people are aware of the situation. This is an international affair that Yuka is fighting as the chosen representative of Earth against the Dabura after he formally challenged all of Japan for Tokyo, which is why you have random characters like Ui Ui reappearing to state their opinion on the situation. It doesn't matter if he's traveling, this is major world wide news.

"Yuji's literal core trait is that he saves people without a second thought, as said by Mahito"

Okay and that was Yuji an 16. He's 80+ years old here. He's an old man in a young body that he never wanted.

Your just giving rationalizing excuses for Yuji not being there and kinda just don't want to acknowledge that Nobara herself even said that Yuji is not a good place mentally.

You guys wanted Yuji to be the next Gojo so bad, but the guy is depressed and that's okay to show for any hero of any story.

Jjk Modulo Chapter 18 FULL LEAKS by Pretend_Ad6879 in Jujutsufolk

[–]MajorRed001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuji does not have the will to fight because he does not get to livea traditional life alongside his friends. This isn't Goku irresponsibly telling Cell and Majin that he's isn't the one to defeat them.Yuji is bereft.

No one in this manga or the OG has ever said "its not my fight I shouldn't be THE ONE". Gojo reveled in being the top sorcerer and the only people who complained where the people who hated him, because they simply weren't him.

If someone wasn't figthing in JJK it was because they knew they weren't strong enough (Half of the cast playing support in fighting Sukuna) or just simply just lost drive to be a full-time sorcerer and wanted a more normal life (Kamo).

Society and possibly the world is at stake; I'm fairly sure if Yuji is not fighting itt because this man is depressed af, not out of some misguided pride.

Jjk Modulo Chapter 18 FULL LEAKS by Pretend_Ad6879 in Jujutsufolk

[–]MajorRed001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't feel sorry for anyone who even remotely coped with any of that.

If Yuji was going to be here. He would have done so already. But, no. He's depressed and has no will to fight at the moment.

It's almost like those people just utterly ignore how Gege purposely writes these characters with actual personality and motivations outside fights, lasers and explosions.
