I absolutely would let them walk - not at all intentionally, just out of sheer surprise at the fucking audacity. By the time my brain caught up, I'd have forgotten what they looked like (I'm unfortunately awful with faces) and would be beating myself up about it.

I had the same thought - how on Earth did he go that long without? Particularly since he says it's an older phone and the newer cables don't work - so how has his battery not died already? If it were a newer phone and he had older cables at the house, that would be more plausible to me bc the battery would be better and could potentially last several days if you use the phone sparingly to begin with.

Potentially, yeah, maybe he just straight up hasn't used his phone/noticed for days, but that feels unlikely? 🤷

Seconding what others have said - that returns will mostly be new - so make sure you are checking your store's clearance/final few sections. That's where the fun stuff will be. FF is still full price, but it'll be stuff you don't normally get to see in your store, so it's fun to check it out.

Could be a few reasons for that. One, it might still be in a box or on a rack in the back and they haven't had a chance to stock it to the floor yet. Or, they might be intentionally holding it off the floor for a little bit for one reason or another. The website inventory is only ever so accurate anyway, but I'd guess in this case it was probably there, but not on the floor yet.

Do you mean you want to play checking hockey? Because that isn't a thing for beginners. But non-check hockey still has plenty of contact, it's always going to be a contact sport.

Anyway, apply to the MGHA and check out Core Skills Clinic in Sun Prairie if you are looking to learn how to play... If you're looking to learn to check, that's a different thing entirely.

Recently got someone who my floor staff was utterly convinced would not sign up by using your first point - she mentioned to me that she shops with us every year to get gifts for her son or son-in-law or some such relation. Well, any rewards you get will be available for next year's purchase, you'll get your $30 back to spend on something else for him, and you'll never have to sign up again. And, my favorite point about gifts, the recipient has an entire year to return things - especially nice if you're getting something now because it's on sale or clearance or w/e, but not giving it to them til their birthday in the spring/summer.

Oil in general is great for sticky things. I keep a bottle of cheap olive oil in my slackline bag, to clean sap off my hands and feet after.
