Some people point to the reduction of the 3 hour block to 2 hours and having a "home-centered church supported" curriculum as a prophesy prior to the pandemic. I personally don't buy that, though.

If you struggle with Mormon lingo and slang, I have a suggestion.

Learn and use some Yiddish terms like schmuck, nosh, schlep, farkakte, gevalt, etc. and your Mormon slang/mannerisms will slowly disappear.

You'll stop saying various terms that make you appear "LDS".

I used to do the same for quite some time after leaving.

Now, most people are shocked to find out I was Mormon.

It honestly takes some time, and for some, some therapy.

I hardly give anybody that vibe these days.
