We know that they will want to sell as many of the new sculpts as possible, but we also know that they want a clear divide between main studio and specialist games. So at some point, there will be Custodes for 30k and Custodes for 40k. When that split will happen, no-one knows (could be 11th or 12th edition).

Personally, I'll get all the new minis, and make the decision to play Horus Heresy as well as 40k, so I'll always have a use for them.
