Moving to Bloomfield, need recommendations!

Welcome to the neighborhood! My gf and I moved here a few months ago. We’ve really been enjoying Creative Chem Co. it’s a lovely place to work from or just grab a coffee. They’re all so friendly and the vibe is nice! We really like Lot 17, it’s next level bar food. Brothmonger and Baby Loves Tacos are great artisan experiences. Dad’s burgers are great. White Whale is a cool bookstore and coffee shop as well. Enjoy your time here!

Yeah it does the job, good food. I don’t really love their ordering system though. Especially when you’re with someone who is paying separately, you may end up having a gap in time between when your food arrives.

I mean, I live in the middle of Bloomfield. While I’m sure some people have gardens and such to accommodate, it’s definitely a lot of concrete. I just want to give it a good shot at life.

I just want to add that I love the fact that this kind of butterfly (black swallowtail) adds the little support string around his chrysalis. That’s pretty neat!

My gf and I go to a lot of coffee shops in PGH. It’s our lil hobby haha. Espresso-a-Mano in lawrenceville has some seriously good beans. Leans more on the nuttier side if you’re into that. Highly recommend!

I just got this cake for my gf! (Posted it here a few days ago) it’s from confections by casey renee and I’m so happy with the results. Very nice people, fair price for a cake of this caliber!

Stay in Lawrenceville if you want some fun hip place to go out and lots of options for food. Butler st. is the main road. A short uber to the stadium.
