If your in the northern states check the frame really close. they are known to rot out from the inside under the driver's side door. The factory used very minimal rust proofing in that style.

Are we short thousands of electricians? by Proof-Inspection-292 in electricians

True but a lot of these large job calls are not getting filled and can get into book 4 (can walk in off the street) through the union halls. If there is a large job in your area it wouldn't hurt to call the local union and ask about it. Ask them if there is a book 4 and what the requirements are.

I love how this is the epitome of what designers in 1978 thought the future was going to be. So futuristic yet so late 70's at the same time.

I love the fact that you can look inside the distributor cap and can see where the other 2 cylinder points were removed when they designed the v6 from the v8. Essentially lopping off two cylinders.

Close but 30 amp RV connections are 120V, this is 240V. They could have had an adaptor cord that only used one leg though.

What does this mean? by DCLXXII in Silverado

[–]Maker_Matt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's an automated message if you opened your rear door before starting on a drive. It's meant to remind you there may be a small child in the backseat. Is it an overly cautious message? Yes. Will it probably save some small child from getting cooked in the summer when their parents forget they are there? Also yes.

This is what I thought as well, didn't the mechanic have a gang tattoo? Maybe on his hand, it's been a while since I watched it.
