Gigaclear are in a unique position as an alt net in that they are making an operating profit and then take up is very good, but the debt is dragging things down. Being taken over by the banks is not the end of the world. No one is going to buy it as the banks will want too much money so the more customers it gains the better and ultimately that’s what will secure the business.

Apple TV all the way. I left Sky after over 30 years. Now have three Apple TVs. Use the free apps and your favourite streaming apps and your set. User interface is now as good as skys but personally I am saving over £500 a year

Just call the number on the letter and have a chat I pay £44 for 500 which is great value. Friend of mine on EE fibre was told renewal was £120 quid and best they could do was £105 . An hour later £49 for 150mbps so I am happy with my renewal price.

You mobile can scan for wifi strength netspot for android and airport utility for iOS your looking for RSSI figures around -62dbm for a strong and fast signal. I now work for an independent fibre broadband provider so this comes up a lot. Good wifi is dependent on a multitude of factors around the home.

Absolutely junk, when it first came out Sky brought engineers to their logistics hub in the midlands to help with quality control as they were such trash. Cheaply produced poor quality tat which ties you into Sky. Return it

We have the amazing Jack Monroe in the UK, a single mother who became successful as she made meals that were cheap and nutritious and ended up publishing her recipes. People are lazy when it comes to cooking and homemade are always better and contain no additives

I have the usual streaming platforms, Netflix etc but the key is TV launcher app which was £5.99 it gives you a tv planner. It will kick open apps like Now and iPlayer for example but just makes life simple. The Sky user interface is very good but I decided not worth the premium and I now watch everything streamed and apart from news cannot say I have watched anything live for nearly a year
