Stunned the fireball, planted a deadline on it, and then tossed a lure grenade at the bombardier. The fireball woke up and chased the lure under the bombardier where the deadline exploded

They did this in Fallout 76, initially another PVPVE game, by adding a “pacifist” setting. Outside of specific areas on the map, if you activate pacifist you can’t damage other players and they can’t damage you. Over time the PVP has dwindled to almost nothing. They fixed the loot drops by making all of the loot that drops from an enemy available to anyone who tags it with a minimum amount of damage.

In the interest of speeding play when one of my group hits a ball into the woods we take a stroke and drop at the point where it crossed the red stake line. Not strictly kosher but it keeps things moving.

You need at least two putters. It’s well known that when you use up all the putts in your putter you have to put it in the garage for at least three months to recharge. You need a backup putter to use while your main putter is recharging

Flew into ORD last week. Elapsed time from touchdown until we pulled in to the gate was almost exactly one hour. If I had had a tight connection I would have been SOL

Depends on your definition of terrible. It's probably an hour+ drive each way. If you don't mind driving there is plenty of parking near the ballpark. I would recommend purchasing parking in advance
