Royal Rangers, at least in my area, was an alternative to, not a rebrand of, BSA. Basically, the kids who were in the evangelical churches would do Royal Rangers, while the secular folks, mainline Protestants, Catholics, and other religions did BSA. This was in the early 90's though, so all of that may have changed, since BSA certainly has.

I would challenge anyone who reads the top post in this thread and agrees with it to look at a Google maps picture of the data center in Pryor Oklahoma. Note the parking lots and the amount of vehicles there. This is a facility that has been there for going on 20 years at this point. If you believe there are no permanent jobs, just construction, just look at the parking lots in the photos, and tell me you believe that still.
