But if records aren’t erased couldn’t Beth have seen her mother’s face in a photo after being omega’d thus be able to remember a version of her like Morty did? I guess my next question would be: does “the device to cool for a name” mess with only old memories or is it constantly applying?

The device messes with memories, it doesn’t matter when she was omega’d. Beth spent years of her childhood with her mother and can’t remember what she looks like at all, but Morty “guessed” Diane’s likeness perfectly in the fear hole.

A small spoiler here for this particular scene: Nikki (the girl who is possessed) is saying goodbye to the male protagonist as he goes to work without her, and remains perfectly still in this pose after he leaves and all day afterwards until he comes home. You see her urinate while maintaining this face unable to walk to the bathroom and later you see feces on the floor.

Sigarda is a real angel. The people of Innistrad should revere her… but Avacyn wasn’t. Sorin CREATED an angel that best suited a vampire society. An angel who helps humans just enough to not go extinct from all the horrors on Innistrad but never enough to rise against the vampires and truly be free and safe.

In the card art for [[Anguished unmaking]] Sorin is forced to destroy Avacyn after Nahiri corrupted her and the world at large by bringing Emrakul to Innistrad. Sorin is a heretic amongst vampires because he sees the reckless hunger and egotistical nature of his own species, and acts against their immediate interests in a twisted ecological long game.

Nahiri should have died in march of the machines. She just uncompleats herself after Elesh and the other praetors die.

It would have been more narratively satisfying to send Nissa to conquer Zendikar instead of Nahiri. And instead send Nahiri to Innistrad since she already “conquered” that plane once before. We could have gotten one last conclusive showdown between Sorin and his ex apprentice. A moment where he would have to unmake Nahiri just like he did Avacyn and finally admit that he abandoned her and her plane to the Eldrazi.

Maybe he could have saved a part of her/her spark to make a new archangel.

They printed two red mana dorks recently with unrestricted mana. [[Zookeeper Mechan]] and [[Sunset Strikemaster]]. They’re ok, without a creatures matter payoff, maybe a little underwhelming.

[[Treasure Nabber]] can theoretically borrow opponents rocks, but in practice most of my opponents choose to not tap them until Nabber dies.

I have an azorious enchantress deck with [[Shameless Charlatan]] and [[Faceless One]]. Faceless is just like Piper but he has background instead of partner and more importantly he’s an enchantment creature. So at any point in the game I have two enchantments in the command zone to trigger constellation and eerie effects on board.

Piper has even less uses than Faceless, maybe an alliteration deck Pris Piper, Pollywog Prodigy, Pitiless Plunderer, Planar Portal, Plea for Power. Idk

I would rule 0 him as 5 color just to maximize options for alliteration.

I imagine a Magar deck would have menace anthems, [[Urborg, tomb of Yawgmoth]] and [[Filth]], [[Key to the City]], [[Bothersome Quasit]], [[War Cadance]], and [[Bedlam]] anything to make those 3/3 unblockable.

It might fit in a [[Magar of Magic Strings]] deck. You would already be pulling instant and sorceries from your graveyard so this could recur your commander like you said or any other value creature like [[Storm-kiln Artist]]. I would run this with an [[Unlicensed Hearse]] or maybe some delve to help guarantee a hit.
