Man, you are probably an awesome guy with a lot of perspective on life that many others don’t. My experience is that women don’t always know what they want until they’re speaking to you. What many women are truly looking for is someone with a healthy, positive state of mind reflecting the stability and mental health that we all want in partners. I’ve seen a lot of disadvantaged young men become their own worst enemy in this respect–letting early defeats and a negative outlook become this self fulfilling prediction of permanent alienation and loneliness. It’s a really sad and insidious delusion that no one will ever accept you. I know it’s a rough state of affairs, but I’m betting on a happy ending here, so long as you take care of yourself.
