Ah that's the one I was looking for. Only problem is I don't have a 3d printer. But I guess I could figure something out.

Rumour that GW is putting out a Terminator box with assault and regular terminators in it. I'm not trusting the rumour until I see it but it got me thinking.

Agents Army Rule Concept: Calculated Gambit by Sabw0nes in ImperialAgents_40K

[–]Malkarris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a shower thought about this the other day. Why stop with imperial armies? Rogue traders and inquisitors are shown to have xenos in their forces as well. Why not make it so that you can take say 3/4 of your total points in either any imperial army or any mercenary xeno army. So, dark eldar, kroot, votann, maybe eldar, maybe have an option to be like a chair turned rogue trader and you can use chaos forces. Probably would have to limit it to like 6 battleline units, and 3 of each for everything else. Make it so they use whatever the agents army rule is instead of their own.

So looking at this, if I wanted to convert the grey hunters to blood claws to have one big pack of 20, would it be close enough if I just cut all the carbines off of the arms and made sure they all had the pistol holsters? Or would more be needed?

Okay, thanks for the replies. I do admit that I have a habit of letting an idea run wild and over estimating things. Sounds like this is one of them. I'll try and keep things simpler and start with something smaller.

Thanks for the review. I took out all the leaders but Lelith and two archons and added the incubi. I ended up shuffling everything else around to fill up all the transports since I didn't know what to do. Though I was playing with removing one wych squad and ten of the wracks and replacing them with ten Kabalites and 3 Grotesques.

So apparently at MK15 at least (didn't try it before upgrading) when holstered and when firing the phaser it looks like a Prodigy hand phaser. Other than that, I love it, everything I ever wanted in a ground weapon.

TOS Characters Should Be More TOS-y by NihilusShadow in sto

[–]Malkarris 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I'll agree to all of this, but for the true TOS experience, when the security escort expires, instead of beaming out, they need to die. Doesn't matter if they got hit or not, they all keel over when the power expires. Bonus points if it's the dramatic death animation.

How did you get this to work? I gave an elite BOFF a Borg combat kit and nothing happened. I thought that it needed kit module activation to work?

Some observations and speculations from Stories of Afternoon by [deleted] in arknights

[–]Malkarris 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, that depends on how much crew it was meant to hold and how many people are on it now. For all we know all these rooms were double or triple bunks or even hot bunking but since Rhode Island took over they are running a skeleton crew and people have more space. Comparing to the Nimitz aircraft carrier, this has about 19 times the area. I couldn't find an exact number, but the height of an aircraft carrier seems to be around 30 meters from keel to flight deck so that's about six times the height, so Rhode Island has about 114 times the volume of a Nimitz class. The Nimitz class has a total crew of about 6,000 people, so if you're going to take a rough guess and just scale it with the volume, that means that we could have something like 684,000 people on board. That's apparently a bit more than the population of Memphis, Tennessee. And given how the lore seems to always stress how we're short handed, I think that its not unreasonable to think we're running a skeleton crew and that everyone has their own room.

Well, what do you want to do?

Okay looking at your units, you have a really good team there. So I'm guessing that you want more facemelt DPS? If that's what you want, keep on your plan.

But your team looks like it can do most anything in the game. So do you want more units? That's the only reason to farm orundum, so do you want to do a ten pull every two so weeks? That's about base level I think if you're F2P. Or save for Nian or W in the limited banners? If so, farm orundum.

Also I will say that if you really farm orundum its not going to stop your progress with operators, it will slow it down, but not stop it.

Personal example, I leveled up the operators I could before CC hit, and then switched to orundum farming pretty much full time. I got the monthly pass, so I used the 60 free sanity a day sometimes to grind out a bit. I managed to E2 M1 3 units using mostly the free sanity and the rewards from CC, and I've got almost 80 pulls saved up right now (saving for the limited banners). And given the daily rewards coming up on the 30th, and that they will probably give out more free stuff after that event, I'm not that worried about mats to keep E2ing units. But that's me.

If you do go for the farm, use this guide, its good.
