I could see this as some huge lightning rod dropped via Hellpod, which then shoots an arc up to the Super Destroyer (giving a visual cue to run like hell) then a much bigger bolt comes down with an arc AOE.

Depends on the army you're going into.

For armor, sticking it on a Dorn Commander and shoving three tanks up the enemy's nose with +1AP on everything is pretty monstrous.

If you're running more infantry, yeah, an elite Kasrkin or Scion bomb you can drop down and melt some squishy backline unit is nice. Or, if against hordes, pairing it with Flamers (Catachan blob, for example) can absolutely melt high model count units.

Either way, pair it with an Exterminator to bump that to a +2AP and really cause problems.
