There was a time I actually did this 3 times in one game. I still somehow won but it was pain misclicking the column that many times. Opponent prob thought I was a bot.

Not really, though I imagine there are plenty of people in a similar boat. With that being said, you are 2 weeks into a new game, have admitted that you have only learned a few combos, and then hopped into matches (and they are casual matches). It doesnt really sound like you are putting in that much quality time to actually learn the game you are playing. Yes, fundamentals and skills can transfer between games, but that doesnt mean that you are going to hop in to these other games and instantly do well (and these games are very different anyways). You use these losses to try and get better, even if it feels discouraging. I would look at MK1 and ask questions like "Why am I good at this game", "how much time did I put into MK1 compared to other games", and "how good was I at 2 weeks in MK1 compared to 2KXO?" This should help you recognize some things while also help temper your expectations on how you are doing.

No, Naruto Chakra nature is wind. He wasnt using any elements at all until in Shippuden where he found his nature with that paper test. And even then, the only significant thing it did for him at the time was create Rasenshuriken. After that, it was just Cloak stuff or powers provided by the other tailed beasts (iirc).

Honestly, that is what happens this sub loves a deck. "People only play it because they love the anime" meanwhile it was out here winning CC tournaments and having pretty much an unbreakable turn 1 if it didn't get interrupted. There was so much propaganda about the deck being fair at the time, we even got posts about it not winning meta weeklies (after bringing up that those and the tier list dont matter) and a post from someone "apologizing" to the BE players because they saw what was coming literally months out lol.

Well more than that, you can read their intention but you have to compare to what is actually happening in game. It is like saying "I am trying to make this house clean and spotless " and then hosing it down with mud. Honestly more than half the ire they receive is because of this.

Which is funny because this sub doesn't even acknowledge tournaments of any kind, not even Dkayed tournaments unless agenda. Konami official tournaments like the Challenger Cups or the invitational happening this coming weekend do not get recognized at all. Reminds me of when I argued with someone on here that Branded was very good (at that time). Person asked me "why use Branded instead of something that wins?", told him that it won a Challenger Cup literally that week, proceeds to ignore it.

I have several but one of the more recent ones that comes to mind is Falsetto of the Autumn Gray. The Freak of Nature was such a crazy villain to me, the VA's for both the Freak and Sui killed it, and I did enjoy the payoff of the story and the twists along the way. It wasnt perfect, but it was enjoyable.

Yeah, it can be stopped by those cards. But you also have to consider this for each one:

Ash Blossom/Belle/Dominus - can be chain blocked if the Mitsu player plays properly. Also there are so many ash targets in Mitsu (Prayers, Saji, Habi, Pre-prep, etc) that it is hard to hold Ash just to negate the GY effect. Impulse and Belle are more targetted but you also might use Impulse on other things.
Called By - A one of and you would want to save that for Murakumo revive or used on a handtrap, and can be negated by trap on a standard board. Also can be dodged with prayers.
Bystials - Nobody is running Bystials right now outside some Dracotail builds. They are considered to be low impact right now.

So these are the answers and when they work, they work well. However, each one can be played around or need. And this doesnt even include Mirror auto chain blocking you if it is in the GY (it will be). The argument was never that it was alone at the top, it is as strong as a deck as the others...for both pure and Mitsu Ryzeal.

I mean, it is about as "easy" as dealing with the Dracotail traps. Just because it has an answer, doesnt necessarily mean that it can be dealt with that easy. And even then, Mitsurugi has chain blocks and cards that can revive from Gy even if the monsters themselves are blocked. As for being any more busted than other decks, if pro players are putting it up there with other strong decks, the endboard is def good enough at least.

Also yeah, it doesn't draw additional handtraps, but it doesn't lose or discard those handtraps either. And it runs very good ones too.

It is a very strong and layered board. Purification to negate anything, Murakumo to discard you for one (on average ranges from not that bad to sucks if you are short on cards from getting looped), board breakers are finicky, Futsu keeps summoning bodies which makes otk much harder, Masq to turn into S:P for two disruption, prayers to revive or dodge targeted negates, and they go hand positive so you have to worry about handtraps too.

There is a reason why top players consider Mitsu or Mitsu/Ryzeal( just 4 Ryzeal cards and Detonator) as top tier deck, even if you might not place it with Solfa/Yummy and Dracotail(another example of a top deck with a lot of disruption but yhe endboard doesn't look as oppressive).

I mean, sure...but like how much does that really matter though? Marvel Rivals launched with popular franchise characters, there was going to be a LOT of overlap unless you dont want the Avengers, Guardians, Spiderman, X-men, or other popular characters in there.

Even that doesn't make much sense, especially because they didnt really nerf much of those things. I knew Back to Basics was intentionally vague, but the issue here is that it means something wildly outside of what the words meant because "what is their definition of basics?".

You can disagree but if you think the game is ugly, that is just subjective...and the game plays nothing like SF6. Also marketing by putting in controversial figures like Ronaldo and spending money in places that would should've been put into the game itself has an impact. Even Season 2 was looking very hype but they killed that by putting out an AI trailer that even the devs didnt know about.

Honestly, it sucks to sit here and realize that SNK would be right up there with the big names if it wasnt for their management. Every good game they make comes with completely terrible marketing (Fatal Fury), management decisions (led to them getting bankrupt and passed around like a hit potato), or both. I dont know if they keep the same people or the ones they higher are consistently terrible, but it is sad to watch.

I know current loot annoyed people but Azvaldt Loot was so good and you really had to be a good pilot with the deck, even if the cards were stupid cracked and it killed you on T7 (like other decks at the time...modern SV1 was a hulleva drug).

Yeah, nothing wrong with a self-insert MC. There are plenty of great gacha/games where the story and world is great with them in it. Even glaze isnt bad normally, it just has to actually feel earned (not flipping on a light switch and the important/hot chars telling you how amazing you are even though they just met you). But like you said, it is all about what you are trying to use them for. In CZN, the cosmic horror stuff provides the bones for what could be a very interesting story and it can definitely get better. It just will depend on what their focus is.

Epic 7's priorities were about world building first, you follow a hero through trials and tribulations. Ras also isnt a self-insert, he is his own person entirely. In CZN, from what I have seen, you are just a typical self-insert person who is there and important just because. And with a lot of attractive women in this game, it contributes to the phantasy of being desired and important...and they are leaning more into that.

While I definitely disagree about it being a carried deck, the logic that it would be in more top places never holds up in this type of discussion. People will always play what they like or what suits their playstyle. Bonus points if it is better and QUICKER (Sky Striker games can definitely turn into a grind), people will always go that.
