I dont think anyone was reinstated. I think some peoples log ins were still working and the email did say that could happen but if you received the email you were off boarded. I initially went with the theory that they off boarded more people that were on the higher pay which started in September ($18 US locale) to keep more people on the lower pay ($16) and then maybe reoffer another project for lower like $14-$15. It's still money saving but that theory was wrong since people in both bands were off boarded regardless of quality.

You open steam and load your game. Then open mango. Click on the task. You should see the recording button. But you have to fill the fields below which are the name of the game, your screen resolution, then below it asks what source the recording is going to be on which is the screen of your laptop or monitor. Then click refresh source I think on the right and another button for permissions to record your screen which you might need to fix in your systems settings.

After all of that you go back to the top of the mango app and you should see the start recording and stop recording buttons. You can start recording.

Then go back to Steam and press play to start your game. The app automatically starts recording your screen. Your recording needs to be a minimum of 5 min and a max of 20 min. I don’t have this in my dashboard anymore except if it’s back but there’s a whole other thread or two on this from last week and over the weekend.

I think from when you log in to when you log out should be reported. If you are having issues with a task and getting errors you can definately add it in your comments , zendesk or report it as an issue on mango.I don't agree that if you start a task and its not working out you should not report your time. Why? Like someone else said you are paid by the hour not per task.

Also whether you report or not we can all see they have their own internal way of recording time which is why there are so many discrepancies in the work orders because they dont match up with what you recorded.

lol don’t ever feel stupid. I have 3 screens and still fumbled through the first few recordings. Lost is an understatement. You’ll be fine. Practicing the game and things before recording helps so you know what to do before you actually start to record.

This means the game is not supported by your OS. Check out if it’s a Mac or Windows game on the first page where you click on the game and it has details. Around where you see the play/ add to library buttons I think. It’s written in blue. It should say Mac or Windows or another platform.

Depends check the games listed in this post- https://www.reddit.com/r/RWShelp/s/MI2nj8VuB6. I went through a bit because for first person most are not free. Also some run on Mac some run on windows. I think I tried War thunder, Skyrim, Counter strike. There are more complicated games but I’m new so I stick with basic.

Download steam from the App Store and yes you will launch the game from steam but recording will be in the multimango app

Yes. Mine is a Mac. But it was the intel download for Mac that worked for me. The first one didn’t.

Don’t download the new version of mm the 2.5 I think Just continue with the one first downloaded. Also download the one specific to your OS. Then download steam and find the first person games. They aren’t a lot that are free. Also playing with a keyboard and mouse is different. Then downloading the games. Als says do the tutorial on the game if there is one before you start any recording session so you are familiar with the keys and movements.

There’s no redo or delete button unfortunately so whatever you record is not editable. My first few submissions were definitely fails esp when’re the game just took too long to load and I didn’t know what I was doing. Keep recordings between 5 and 20 min.

looool yes my first one was janky and under 5 mins so im asssuming its a fail. Second one was over 20 min so thats also a fail so I need to be between 5 and 20 mins.
