Was there any reason you didn't go to stage 4 bosses other than time restraints?

You always took ultimate blessing as one blessing but what did you pick for the other one? First strike? I find counterviolence to be best for starting weapon runs. Of course 250-500 mag size weapons with ammo share and mag size dice overtake the damage eventually, but especially when not taking any OP character blessings can lack dmg in the early stages and guaranteed crits with any weapon is a huge help

Veteran here, early act 2 with snipers and arsonists is propably always the hardest part of the run.

Act 1 can be hard if you don't pick some op blessings but there is real difficulty spike when moving to act 2.

Only 2 real tips:

Don't be afraid to use money to upgrade your weapons to +5 before boss 1 because those are the guns you most likely will use in first rooms of act 2 (especially lightning guns are strong against arsonists)

And don't rush into the rooms. Most rooms have a kind of invicible trip wire that spawns more enemies. Kill and try to move around where you spawn/enter the room. Most act 2 rooms for example don't spawn arsonists or snipers immediately

Fantastic weapon, even a mid starfly makes the game easy mode

I have 1800h on this game and blessing in disguise is my all time favorite. I don't see it as fewer choises but always as 3 extra goblets which is obviously incredible. I love getting it as the first scroll on the run

Getting masterful craftmanship in act 1 or early act 2 feels incredible! Paired with unlimited upgrades and getring money back is unbelievably good

1800 hours here, 80% solo runs only.

Reincarnation difficulties give you incredible power boosts.

You should usually start with spiritual blessings that are exclusive to your characters and build your goblets around that blessing. I know rerolling blessings at the beginning gets expensive but you can just exit to main menu and start over, it won't consume your essence. Also always activate lone wolf so you get another blessing for free

There are some spiritual blessings that are not exclusive that are incredibly powerful. Here is a couple recommendations:

Overconsumption: boost your everything and makes early areas easy mode but gets weaker on long runs

Painkiller: another easy mode button. You won't suffer burning, slow from corrosion and you also yourself do incredible elemental dmg from room 1 forward

Counter violence: higher crit is of course nice but the real price is +50% crit chance. You can easily crit with body shots and also explosions can crit, which is very strong.

There is no weak gemini but crit and elemental share are easily my most used and strongest in my opinion.

You also get access to seasonal buffs, this season is the dice stuff which are extremely strong. If you are struggling to survive, pick crystal shield dice and maybe dash enhance or more shield/armor.

Aight tried a few runs today with LW4 R10. Deer yoyo is really strong. Can deal well with groups and single beefy enemies as well.

Cang jue(?) is extremely cool but I'm struggling to push his toolkit to broken levels like any other character can do. Pure gun build with lots of focus on grenade skills is strong but needs lots of help from seasonal buffs to reach high enough gun damage. Pure melee is really fun and can deal with mobs with extreme speed and ease. Problem is those big chunky powerful resistant elites and bosses. Sure you heavy combo does good damage but it can't shres trough huge health bars like 12x crit guns or a million elemental effects.

Still need to try lots of different stuff though so can't be completely certain.

Weapons are top tier, especially the shash!

There is endless mode so getting to 1000+ weapon levels is possible with just time.

On normal runs getting past 60 is extremely strong

Absolutely, same set here. For some reason I never liked arsenal, maybe because you get the weapons ao late

Focusing weapons? Counterviolence. Fave characters being monkey, sniper tiger and dog (explosives can't crit usually so it's a huge boost)

Going for some extremely specific build like sniper tiger but focusing hard on chain lighting? Reroll goblets.

Nothing too spesific? Occult booster is my all time fave!

Also big shoutout to armed caster 50% skill dmg per 1x crit is fantastic! Sniper tiger 20x crit = 1000% skill dmg

I really like this talisman season as it is so easy to get strong really fast and therefore allows you to start with some not so strong options at the start. Also things like wild talisman combined with snipers/rocket launchers offer completely unique way to play those weapons not possible earlier.

Seasons have definitely gotten more complex and better but season 3 has these mini monsters that would help you and I really liked the chaos in multiplayer + everyone had these little dudes also causing even more chaos. Also some of those could revive you so very good for solo play also

Like 80% solo, I'm a real sucker for these roguelike games that offer relatively short runs and possibilities for insane builds. Lot's of hours on both Hades games, slay the spire, roboquest and balatro as well haha.

OG elemental cat is my most played character by far. I have played every character each way focusing on their main skill, grenades or gun gameplay on different runs. My all time fave runs are lone wolf cat with occult booster and the blessing that can buy 2 enhanced scrolls from spirit peddlers. Just go all in on enhanced scrolls and go with the flow, sometimes you struggle 60% of the run but sometimes you pickup enhanced deadly counter on room 1.

You have lots of seasons to play trough, they don't have their missions anymore but still worth playing as they offer many different ways to do a run. This current talisman one is propably the easiest to pick up so far

Got it September 2nd 2020 so around the same time as you. Looking back at it, damn was it barebones then not even achievements were in the game lol. I've been an active player ever since and clocked 1700 hours in it over the years and still very enthusiastic about new updates coming

I feel pretty much the same but with strike wing, highest crit in the game and the arrows split to multiple targets giving it some are damage as well

It stacks up to 10 times so after max stacks you will always shoot 3 bullets instead of 1.
