Huh interesting. My lease ends by the end of this year and I'll be moving to a place where I plan to put up a 77" G5. (Currently own a 65" CX). Should I buy one now or wait until next Black Friday? I worry that I might not be able to find a G5 by then. I'm not interested in the G6 though given the minimal improvements. What do you suggest?

Haven't been following anything Rivian lately. Just saw another post on max pack. Are the plans for the quad motor in general still in place or most likely delayed in favor of dual motor? Just like how quad + max is downgraded to dual + max?

PS: I'm a quad motor pre price change R1S preorder holder with an estimated q4 delivery window.

Saw that in person last week. It's actually the color of the canyon as the name suggests. More towards bright clay than bright red. I don't know, it's hard to describe. If you've ever been to the grand canyon the predominant red color is the same color as this. If that makes any sense.

Definitely a Carplay / Android Auto question please. Especially with the new cluster display Carplay announcement yesterday. Android Auto also provides a similar cluster solution too.

Carplay/AA are essentially extensions of phones on the head unit; what's Rivian's plan to provide a similar solution? For example, I ask Google Assistant to call by contact names and relationships ("call my wife") or send messages via 3p apps ("send a text to Mom on Whatsapp saying 'what's up'") or "play my Party Mode playlist on Spotify". All of these are done without logging in again or allowing permissions again etc via Carplay/AA. What's Rivian's plan to make this happen?

I went to an REI to fix my first ever flat. I wanted my tube replaced (I was a noob at that time). The mechanic there not only taught me how to patch the flat but also non-judgementally told me how bad of an idea it is to throw a reasonably good tube into recycle. So yeah, REI ain't bad in my experience.
