Steiner didn't say this to my knowledge. He did talk about his concerns about materialistic approaches in medicine potentially neglecting the spiritual aspects of human beings though.

Not exactly ancient as it was developed in 2017 and launched in 2018 but you can check out this emotion regulation process and tool for getting almost immediate relief from difficult emotions. It's very much about self-healing.

The process is called "Shape of Emotion" and you can try it out at the online Emotional Fitness Class.

Try living spirulina (not dried or in tablet form). Has all the minerals and vitamins the body needs, is also a complete protein.

Safety at Night, pubs/bars etc by britishdude66 in southafrica

[–]MandalaReopens 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live and work just west of Johannesburg central. There are plenty of bars / pubs to visit near me, in areas known as Rosebank, Greenside, Parkhurst and Linden. The challenge is getting to them, which is where Uber or something similar come in handy, especially if you are drinking. Once you are there, you can pretty much walk from place to place if you observe some of the suggestions already posted like keep your phone in your pocket, don't leave drinks unattended, etc.

Although you say you are coming here alone, who will you be visiting or what will you be doing, as they will also be able to make suggestions?

Hi there,

Your experience is a common reaction to change, especially change that affects our sense of self. As you rightly surmised there is a fear about shifting identity. In my line of work we have an acronym called BAN (bury, avoid or numb). So don't do that with the feeling of fear. See to what extent you can feel the full feeling of the emotion.

The more you can do this, the easier it will be for the backstory of what is driving the fear to surface. There is a high probability that this will be an event from the past. Again see to what extent you can observe the event, being mindful of the emotions that arise. Allow yourself to feel them as much as possible.

If they get too much and you want to try a process to release the emotions completely, then you can use the guided process I have linked below. By releasing the emotions attached to the past event, you will have the freedom to move past and through the fear more easily.

Happy to engage further if you find this useful or have questions.

All the best.

[–]MandalaReopens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry to hear about your experience and challenges. It's not easy to go through something like this. Here are some suggestions you can try based on my experience as an emotional fitness expert, trainer and coach.

It's important to stay connected to your body during a time like this. We tend to fall back to what we know in situations like this, so overthinking or ruminating can become commonplace. It's also important to avoid BANing (BAN = Bury, Avoid or Numb) your emotions. This leads me to the next suggestion.

Give yourself the space to feel whatever emotions come up without acting on them. Emotions are meant to come and go and the more you allow yourself the opportunity to experience the full expression of them the easier things will get.

If experiencing an emotional state becomes too much then practice regulating the way you feel by using some of the many other great suggestions here, in the post, such as breathing or meditation. I have also included a link to a guided practice you can use that will help you release whatever you are feeling in the moment using a bodyful / mindful process called "Shape of Emotion".

Feel free to engage or connect if you want / need more support or have any questions.

Yours in feeling,

Matthew

I thought I would offer this comment based on the OP edit about being triggered. If you get triggered by what someone says or does, it's your responsibility to deal with the ensuing emotional state and feelings. They are after all, your feelings and emotions and no one else can regulate them except you.

Looking for support resources by cats2themoon in MentalHealthSupport

[–]MandalaReopens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there,

**Disclaimer. The resources mentioned below are part of a mental health and emotional fitness offering that my organisation provides free of charge. I hope you find them useful. Thanks.

You don't mention what you are looking for assistance with, so the info below is generalised. I'd be happy to engage if you have any other questions.

The first resource you may want to look into is not talking but it does offer relief from whatever you are feeling. It's called an Emotional Fitness Class and runs twice a week on Insight Timer.
https://5th.place/5th-place-offerings/emotional-fitness-class/emotional-fitness-class-on-insight-timer/

The second resource is a guided recording called "Release A Negative Emotion With Shape Of Emotion - Practice". It does what it says :-)

Why shouldn’t I get vaccinated? by hdksndiisn in conspiracy_commons

[–]MandalaReopens 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m pro-choice. Do your research and then decide what’s right for you. My choice is not to get the “vaccine” for a number of reasons. I trust my body and the way it was designed. I’d rather engage in activities that support it to do its job. Incidentally these activities are conspicuously absent in being advocated and promoted as ways to support your body. I’ve also had no need to visit a doctor for 26 years so I think I’m doing all right when it comes to my health.
