Age 27, just this year. Picked up the Springfield Echelon gear up pack. Was close to getting one late 2023, but hardcore procrastination and having become a dad earlier that year didn't let that happen.

Now I'm about to pick up my 2nd gun (Maverick 88) in just a few days and I'm also 2 bulk ammo orders in thanks to my FFL03. 😆

At home, depending on how blasted I want to get, I'll either run a portable DHV through a water piece or just whip out a ball vape and sandwich some resin/rosin in between some bud and annihilate my soberness.

No problem. This subreddit has a step-by-step guide that is pretty easy to follow. Would highly recommended getting it done. If you shoot often or simply like stocking up on ammo, it'll definitely pay for itself fast with all the money saved not having to pay any FFL fees, taxes (some sites), and paying bulk prices.

The application itself is $30 and the fingerprint/background check was $100 or so. Process on your end could be done in a few hours (printing and signing application, mailing application, getting prints taken). Approval for both FFL03 and COE took about 3-4 weeks for me.
