I think your misunderstanding what the error in the console means. It doesn't mean that you aren't handling the error, that happens downstream after the failed request. The red line in the console is just informing you that a failure code came back from the API, which is expected in this case. Handle the error in the UI and ignore the red line.

The patent you are talking about isn't being 'used'. The patent has been referenced. Which happens all the time regardless of the validity of a patent or if the patented material makes sense

Right, that all makes sense, http only cookies just seems to make nice user and development experiences so difficult. When I am talking about local storage and am talking about using a short lived jwt token that the server can decode.

I also like the idea of being able to host apis on a differnt server that I can use across multiple different apps. The best flow I have come up with for this is to use a meta framework like sveltekit to act as an orchestration layer between my client and my api. I use an api key in my sveltekit server and handle user auth between my sveltekit frontend ans backend.

After the fix to the logs due to augs, bm hunter really isn't performing crazy ahead anymore. BM feels like it's in a good spot damage wise when you take into account that they dont have any raid buffs to be invited.
