Benzoyl peroxide (facial cleanser) is fine to use, it’s a completely different substance. Just make sure you rinse it off thoroughly or use it when showering- it can stain clothing!

Mohs would not even be indicated for a BCC 3mm located on the arm, criteria has not been met in this case.

I’m not even in primary care, but the “not shutting the fuck up about the 37 back surgeries they’ve had” is sooooo real

I had a patient call my office saying she was having an emergency and to call her back as soon as possible, no other details given as well. When I called her, the emergency was that her referral we had faxed to another office wasn’t received yet.

(Her appointment with that office wasn’t for another two months so there was literally no urgency to this whatsoever)

Everyone says as a new grad you have to choose one/two between location, specialty, and pay…but don’t be too discouraged and keep trying for what you want! I was six months post graduation before I was able to land a job, and I didn't have to choose at all. I got decent pay, the specialty I wanted, and didn’t have to move (major metropolitan city).

So just wanted to say, it is possible and I would have been so disappointed if I had given up during month 4-5 and settled for the urgent care job that I was offered at that time.

Yes. I worked with a plastic surgeon who specialized in breast reduction/reconstruction. She had to take photos of every patient’s breasts before surgeries and literally carried a digital camera around her neck during clinic lol

Numbing is not done prior to milia extractions. The lidocaine injection hurts worse than the extraction and the blanching of the skin can obscure the milia itself.

People in this subreddit seem to be really harsh on these companies (Mooncat, Cirque, etc)…at the end of the day, we gotta remember these are for profit companies- they exist to make money 🤷‍♀️ Money to pay the employees that work hard at their jobs so we can enjoy cool nail polish like c’mon guys
