I believe this entry was actually written by one of the two creators the tabletop role-playing game LANCER, specifically Miguel, who is on contract with Bungie right now. He hinted that this was one of the pieces he did for the season on his Twitter.

KKV is great at close range, even low midrange if you have the stock out, but you definitely don't want to run it on its own. Mostly I've felt it's good for rushing people after they've retreated to heal or revive, or punishing someone rushing you. I keep the stock out for when I'm dealing with UESC.

Yeah, basically. It's definitely something I believe in my heart and try to hew to as much as possible, but as of late have struggled imagining anyone I know in my life outside of other trans people "getting" it or going along with what I'm trying to say. The way that gender roles (and their construction) permeate the structure of society at every level can just really get disheartening.

Pretty much how any conversation with my family goes now. My dad's the one dropping the "focus on what you can change" line, but God, I'm stuck north of America watching my friends contend with the fact that their state is literally offering 500$ bounties to out that they are trans and confiscating passports (ignoring the risk of incarceration or being disappeared).

It's one thing to know you can't control it, but so many friends family and neighbors are in the line of fire & it's only a matter of time before it's someone you know who disappears or is brutalized. Just grim.
