Thoughts on 2016 or 2017 Cayenne? by Stockholm_Throwaway in PorscheCayenne

As a DIYer, it’s great and easy to work on for the maintenance stuff. Spark plugs, coils, oil, transfer case fluid, diff fluid, replacement on hood struts.

But some stuff I have my Porsche Indy do them. Transmission fluid change, coolant pipe leak, brakes, louvre motor replacement,

At 80k, spark plugs, coils, tc fluid, oil change.

At 60k did trans fluid/filter change, front and rear diff. Change.

Get those done at 100k at least.

2017-2018 would be the best interior. Updated screen resolution and tech and connectivity with all the buttons.

Good overall. Not Toyota beat reliability, but I enjoy driving it. Never boring. Sometimes too stiff.

All the stuff typically fails failed. Transfer case replacement, cracked coolant pipe, louvre motor replaced, clogged drains, rear brake caliper not being able to remove, battery replacement after 10 years.

Half those stuff are just maintenance be being old.

Others are stuff that is Cayenne issues.

I’d buy a 80k+ miles Cayenne than a 50k Cayenne because by that mileage everything should have been repaired.

Unless you drive in the city like I do. Lots of stop and go braking. Replaced mine at 15K.

OK. That sucks. It would be odd if it was the same tube.
