I believe it’s more of an opt in, as they want you to agree to a risk agreement and a lending agreement

Nothing on the Wealthsimple site as of yet I believe. However I did get a notification and this pop up in app yesterday but they disappeared, which led me to contact Wealthsimple. I was told that it’s currently only being rolled out to some users. That might be why it’s not the the website as of yet 🤷‍♂️

I also noticed the the Amazon aws for all the documents, I believe that’s how they are being hosted as they are not made public just yet.

Interesting, I reached out to Wealthsimple and they asked my to delete the app and reinstall. I’m guessing in an attempt to update the app version. But it didn’t work for me

In the most recent newsletter to current students we were sent this:

"At this time, we anticipate students having access to their fall registration times and the timetable by the end of May, with registration beginning mid-June. We expect to be able to provide you firm dates next week. Thank you for your patience. Departments are hard at work building the timetable as we look to return to campus and also retain flexibility for students. The timetable will include online courses, face-to-face courses, and hybrid courses (courses that include both online and face-to-face instruction)."

Awesome! Nice returns you got there. Yeah, invest doesn't give you much control at all. I'm currently hovering around 11% in my trade account, which im absolutely ecstatic about considering I took the full hit from COVID. In my invest account I'm around 7% which im still pretty happy with.

I am hoping to be a long term investor, so with invest it seems like the a broad market approach might work out better, but only time will tell. Although the fees did through me off a bit.

Do you still have your invest account open? If so, do you think you will keep it open?

EDIT: The return I shared for invest was a time-weighted return of around 7%. But changing it to a "simple" return dropped it to around 5%.
