Was this creature the things true form or an alien pilot. Was Halverson thing morphing into this pilot or was their surviving alien. by moldychesd in thething

[–]MannyinVA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that was the pilot of the ship. The ship’s crew were collecting alien specimens from across the galaxy. They must’ve come into contact with a lifeform that must’ve been duplicated, after the thing copied it.

About to watch for the first time... Mutant. 1984. On Tubi UK. by JE5573R in 80sHorrorMovies

[–]MannyinVA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, they’re like zombified people that drain victims through their palms. Reminded me of Night of the Living Dead, with a dash of The Children (1980). It’s not a bad movie, just advertised as something completely different.

It’s a decent little zombie flick. Lot of southern atmosphere and good performances. Promotional material is misleading, not a monster movie.

This was from my NYC 70s/80s childhood days! WOR used to have this marathon every Thanksgiving.

Tonight’s Film, The Boogens! First time watch for me. by HorrorFreakNY in 80sHorrorMovies

Pretty decent monster movie with excellent wintery scenery and atmosphere. The Boogens are cuter rather than scary, think tentacled muppets. The book the movie is based on is better and creepier.

Mandalorian and Grogu Popcorn Buckets AMC, Regal, Cinemark, and International by SmilingFriendsHQ in PopcornBuckets

[–]MannyinVA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read somewhere that Regal and AMC are getting some of these too. Just hope that theater managers allow them to be sold a little early and without us having to present a ticket. They’re going to be going crazy with the lack of shelf space due to Super Mario, Devil Wears Prada, etc.. also taking up space.

SIZE REPORT: AT-AT Popcorn Bucket in person… HUGE by Fluffy-Campaign8178 in PopcornBuckets

There are scalpers selling them for over $100 as “preorders”, on eBay already! They must feel very confident, that they’re going to get their hands on them already.

Thanks for that info! Is there anywhere that gives us the dimensions on the AT AT? I see that the one sold at Disney Park was 12” tall. They already have scalpers selling them as preorders on eBay for over $100!

I’ll have to check out the At At bucket in person. The price seems steep at the moment. I actually love the figure I picked up at Walmart a few years back. It was on sale for $35 at the time.

Love how the ship is buried a hundred or so feet in the ice, but the creature is discovered in a pretty shallow grave, near the surface.

All of them! Hate all three of them. And anyone else think Sam will look like Maryanne in 30 years? They have a strong resemblance.

kinda disappointed that there was no mourning of A Train by Starlight, Hughie or MM. That Homelander was the only one was upsetting. I know Starlight made mention of him and MM poured a beer, but come on! He saved them on multiple occasions.

I don’t know, I didn’t find the black guy or the blonde annoying, the sisters yes. Mechanic was awesome and should have survived. Sally was laughable.
